Try to fight your way out

It is risky, but you have to try to fight back. You are not sure who those guys are, but in the last days you saw too much to believe they are not connected to any magical being. And if they are interested in Jenny, they most likely work for the vampires or Neo Inquisition. Both would be a problem.

While the strange couple still waits for your answer, you reach out and smash the paper bag with your food right in the guys face. Originally you hoped to hit him with one of the soda cans, but when the bag rips open and boiling hot fries and burgers fresh out of the oil spread over his face, it is even better. The guy screams because of the sudden pain and covers his face. For this he has to let go of you and you are free.

The woman is shocked by your action and her partners burnings, so you use her surprise and run in the opposite direction. You were sure that there was enough space between you and the woman so you could escape. But after a few meters something heavy hits your back and pulls you painfully to the ground. Strong arms pin you down and you are absolutely sure, this woman is not a normal human. At least not entirely.

“Bad choice, fucker,” the woman growls angry while her much angrier partner comes closer, “you will come with us!”

You struggle do get free, but the woman is much stronger than a woman her size should be. You doubt that these two are normal human, but at the moment it is not your biggest worry what they are. Rather what they will do to you and Jenny. you hope she finds out what happened and gets help, when suddenly somebody steps in.

“Emma?” a familiar voice scrams in shock and all three of you turn around, “what the fuck are you doing here? Why are you on top of my boyfriend? And why is Marvin’s face full of food? What happened here?”

“Your what?” the woman called Emma asks shocked and slowly let’s go of you “we … well, we saw this guy lurking around your car. We thought he is an agent of our enemies.”

“I thought the same about you,” you admit and get up, “but you know each other. Who are you exactly?”

“Emma and Marvin are part of the pack,” Jenny tells you and checks on you, “they are both werewolves like me.”

“I didn’t know your boyfriend knows about our kind,” Marvin mumbles a little ashamed, “we … maybe we should start this all over again?”
