Yes, she accepts

Shuri stares at the extended hand, looking back and forth between it and Kayo's tentatively hopeful expression. She knows she can't trust anyone else on the island, not even the other girls. But a flex of her bandaged hand is enough to remind her what Kayo had done for her earlier, even before she'd tased a man to save her.

If there's anyone in this place she has to trust, even if only a little, it has to be Kayo after all that's happened.

"It's a deal." She takes Kayo's hand and shakes it. Kayo blinks, almost as if surprised, before her face breaks into a smile.

"Great! Alright, let's get moving then." Without a further word, Kayo pauses only to put her taser into her backpack and take out her flashlight before zipping it up securely practically skipping ahead. Shuri watches her go, a little off-guard, before getting out her own flashlight and following. The light from their flashlights is golden against the otherwise dark grass, making constantly moving pools. The only noise in the otherwise pervasive silence is the sound of Shuri's stick against the ground.

They're moving near the coastline, going into woodland but with the tide against the beach still visible through the thin trees. Ahead, Shuri can see the high points of the cliffs.

"So, what was your plan?" Kayo asks, pointing her flashlight near a bush.

"Hm?" Shuri racks her brain briefly. God, it feels like an eternity since the morning when she'd run and lost her map. "I was planning on getting across the island through the points marked on the map and then backtracking for any I missed. Something like that, since the prize is obviously somewhere we have to travel to for the episode to keep going."

"That makes sense," Kayo replies, although she sounds more like she's talking to herself than to Shuri.

It's not long before they arrive at a clearing and Shuri can see where they can go from there. A creek is flowing down nearby, while the cliffs are in stark view ahead and the beach is sloping to the right.

Kayo glances at her, as if waiting for her to say something, and Shuri finds herself hoping that for once, she's not in charge. They have to decide together where to go, don't they?
