After a week of recovery and rest at the Klaigon Lake, the refugees of Clovis set out once again on their exodus to the Kingdom of Darkland.
Meanwhile in one of Obscurian frontier towns, Queen Imperia II has just finished her campaign against Mirantia's western frontier, leaving some garrisons behind to occupy some towns while also demolishing others like Clovis. But unexpectedly, the current King of Mirantia, King Duncan III, did not even try to redirect his troops from defending the supply line by seas to the Allied troops that are besieging at Diani at all.
Frustrated and angry at the outcome and the fact that she might be carrying a bastard in her womb as a result of a rape, the current Queen of Obscuria entered the royal estate in the town, sit down in the study and write a letter to her elder brother in Cerro about what happened to her and the result of the campaign. Knowing that her brother is not going to let the humiliating fact that she has been raped go easily but also because how much he loves her as his sister, she confidently rested assured that she will be avenged.
With the mention of her being rape, she believed that her brother is going to personally lead the campaign against Mirantia or one of its vassals in the attempt to lure King Duncan III out of the capital and capture him, forcing the Allies to come to the negotiation table.
A month later at the Royal Palace in Kingdom of Cerro's capital...
"PREPARE ME AN ARMY AND A FLEET! I WILL LEAD THIS NEW CAMPAIGN MYSELF!" King Henry II yelled at the top of his lungs after he reads the letter about the fate befell upon his beloved younger sister.
As soon as they heard that, two of the four guards that stationed in the Throne Room immediately runs out to relay the King's order.
Meanwhile, at port city of Dagobert in the north of Mirantia, the massive entourage of refugees from Clovis finally made it into the city.
Right now, they're resting in all sorts of places available for them, ranging from inns to forming their own encampment outside of the city, while Ingra, Nyx and Edward are discussing with the shipowners about booking passage to get them across the channel to Darkland.
However, the shipowners stated that most of their ships have been seized by Mirantia's Royal Government and converted into warships to assist the Allies in the naval engagements to defend the United Boroughs from being conquered while the ships that they've sent to the Mirantian colonies in the New World are still on the returning journey at the moment.
Having no choice but to wait, they decided to remain in Dagobert for the time being.
