Chapter 20 by Nanking

Onward to Meereen, then?

Yes, but is seems she overshot it.

Dany dared not stop, so despite Drogon's grumbling, she had him fly on and on until morning, and she stayed wide awake with him, not daring to get so much as a wink of sleep, given the precariousness of her current circumstances. After what felt like hours, distant rays of pink and orange began to appear on the horizon. Dawn was approaching, and the sight of it brought a small smile to her face. However, that smile began to fade as the landscape beneath her came into view, through the cloud cover and the mistiness of the early morning, she saw neither the rising pyramids of Meereen or the surrounded desert. No all that she saw was the open waters of Slavers Bay.

"I-I missed it." Daenerys whispered to herself. "Drogon flew right past the city in the night. And I didn't even notice!"

The queen of Meereen looked behind her, hoping to see the coastline and city just behind her, but all she saw was more ocean. Dany gritted her teeth. What was she going to do now? She was exhausted, her thighs beet red from gripping Drogon's hide for so long, she'd lost feeling in the rest of her body from constant exposure to the cold air and worst of all she really had to pee.

"Drogon we have to land," she told her child. "You've flown across these skies for months so please. Find somewhere for mother to rest. Embrot! Embrot!"

Drogon roared sounding both pleased and annoyed with his mother request. He banked slightly and few full speed for another thirty minutes, Dany desperately tried to say awake as her very consciousness started to waver at this point. Then she was it. From a distance it looked like a bloop of green on the endless blue horizon. An island. The queen patted her firstborn on the neck in gratitude, but as they got closer it became more defined, she became worried. The island was covered in forests of palm trees and rolling green fields, there were no mountains or caves however, so it was not an ideal place for Drogon to rest. Worse still the island wasn't uninhabited on one side sat a large port city. Dany assumed it must be Elyria the only major island port in this part of the world. Elyria was independent, strong and worst of all allied with her enemies the Slavers. She would not be welcome there and so prayed Drogon would not be foolish enough to try and land there. Her hopes were realized when Drogon flew towards the island's interior, gliding over treetops before finally landing in a vacant field. Daenerys gripped tightly onto his neck as to not be shaken off by the impact. After landing Drogon let his colossal body go limp his head smashing into the ground, he purred signaling his relief.

"Good Boy," Dany exhaled as she carefully lowered herself off his back. When her feet hit the ground, the queen felt her legs shake, she leaned against Drogon to keep her balance. Her crotch was burning, which yes, she saw the irony, forcing her to spread her legs out while walking. Daenerys waddled her way away from her dragon towards a nearly bush with a tree growing out of it. She leaned against the tree and crotched down. This next part was basically non voluntary.

"Aaaaahhhh, Yes," Daenerys moaned arcing her back and stretching her neck, "Oh sweet relief." In that moment nothing she had ever dreamed of, not the Iron Throne or abolition of slavery or even her three children, meant as much to her as pissing in this bush. As she finished a satisfied grin grew across her face. Drogon looked on and grumbled at him mother's sorry state. Dany met his gaze, answering as though he had actually said something and was not just a vessel for her own frustrations. "Yes, I know it's pathetic," Dany growled. "But unfortunately, mother's life is fairly pathetic right now."
