Yes, But You Find Another Girl In Trouble

Afternoon sunlight washes over you as you finally make your way out of the cave, forcing you to squint as your eyes readjust to not being in darkness. Thank God I'm out of there... you think to yourself. Not taking sunlight for granted again, that's for sure...

As your vision fully returns to you, you can see Cerulean City just off in the distance; the path there seems pretty straightforward from here. After all you've been through today with getting lost in the caves and running into Team Rocket, all you want to do is get to a Pokemon Center so you can take a rest. Your need to visit a shop, too; you've had to battle a few trainers on the way out of the mountain, and your stash of healing items is running low. You start off down the cobbled path, fairly confident you'd make it to Cerulean before nightfall.

You've been walking for a little while before you come across a man and a woman standing across from each other, clearly engaged in a pokemon battle. Not wanting to take any chances due to your lack of items, you dart into some nearby bushes before either of them sees you, allowing you to take a proper look at what's going on from your hidden position.

The man is dark-haired, tanned, and well-built, with a Raticate stood in front of him, snarling at his opponent. He's wearing jeans, and a black jacket with 5 gym badges pinned to it; he's clearly an experienced trainer. The woman, meanwhile, is a stunningly beautiful blonde, clad in a black crop top, tight leather pants, and a yellow jacket that only has the bottom button done-up. However, it's the headphone accessories on her head that make you realise who she is: Elesa, the leader of the Unova region's Nimbasa City, and a hugely popular model, appearing in magazines and TV commercials all across the world.

You've been a fan of Elesa's for a long time, watching every interview she's done on TV. She's exactly the kind of woman you aspire to be: strong, confident, and proud of her femininity, not seeing it as a weakness as so many others did. While you're busy fangirling and wondering what she's doing in Kanto battling some random guy, she orders her Zebstrika forward, and the electric pokemon obeys, surging forward while glowing with electrical energy and knocking the man's Raticate out with a fierce Wild Charge.

"Heh," chuckles the man, recalling his Raticate. "You're pretty good. Those Unovan pokemon are impressive. I know you're down to your last one, though."

"So are you," says Elesa, not showing any sign of emotion on her face.

"True," the man nods. "But I don't think you'll like this one. Go, Nidoking!"

The big purple brute of a pokemon emerges from the man's pokeball, roaring as it steps towards Elesa's Zebstrika. Elesa's piercing blue eyes widen as she realises she's at a big disadvantage, and she hurriedly orders evasive manoeuvres from her pokemon, but it's too late; Nidoking unleashes it's Earthquake attack, causing the ground itself to shake and knocking you onto your ass, mercifully still obscured by the bushes. The electric-type Zebstrika doesn't stand a chance, and falls to the floor, ****.

The dark-haired man smirks as Elesa scowls. "Looks like I win, hot stuff," he says. "And we both know what that means..."

Shit... what do I do? You don't want to watch your idol end up as just another victim to some lowlife pervert, but there's nothing you can do under the Pokemon League's rules to stop it. Even if there was, there's no way you and your pokemon can take down a Nidoking that strong... is there?
