"Man, I'm so sorry, I overslept!," Mark pleaded. "I'll rush there, be there by 8."

"Are you really doing this mate?" Jim seemed completely done with Mark. "You know what? I don't give a shit anymore, you come if you want or just don't."

As he said this, Jim just cut the call, leaving Mark scrambling around his bed to get ready in the shortest time possible. He couldn't miss the meetup today, he wanted information on Sarah. Oh why did he even take a nap, he despaired.

It took him a solid ten minutes to put on the first clothes he could grab and get into his car. He drove like a maniac along the road as he was finally able to reach McKenzie's at 7:55 P.M. He wasn't happy with the time given that he is almost an hour late but he assumed that he'd be able to get into the conversation hoping that his friends weren't yet drunk out of their minds.

As he moved in, he managed to quickly spot his little group of friends seated right by the entrance. Jim to spotted him at the same moment and looked over at Mark crossly as he made it quietly over to the table.
