Take a Nap

Ah well, he had time ample time to take a decision. He could put that time to some good use and get on with something productive, something like.... a NAP! Who cares if Max is sad? He can go for a walk tomorrow. But Mark? Oh he could get on with his beauty sleep for a few hours and wake up, as fresh as a flower and head straight to McKenzie's just in time to hear in all the gossip Liam has to offer.

This was a perfect plan, even though Max would disagree, if he could disagree. No amount of whimpering or pleading would get Max his walk today, for today, Mark chose to nap, and nap he shall!

Mark moved to his bedroom and tucked himself in like a sweet little baby. As he started drifting into sleep, he observed the time.

03:21 P.M.

As good a time as any to sleep, he thought to himself as he dozed off.

It didn't take him much time to fall into sleep.

It also didn't take him much time to wake up.

He woke up almost instantly as soon as he heard the first ring. A look at the phone revealed the caller as Jim for the second time that day. This time though, Mark instantly lifted the call and started speaking with a groggy voice.

"Where the fuck are you, mate?," came Jim's voice from the other end, a bit angry this time.

"whatisityouarecallingmeforbruh" replied Mark, still a bit asleep.

"Were you fucking sleeping?" questioned Jim. "What the fuck mate?"

"Man, sorry!" Mark replied, now back to his senses after noticing that the time was now 07:14 P.M.

"Bro, what the fuck? Were you planning on skipping or what? You couldn't have told me if you were planning to rather sleep in?"

Mark wasn't sure. Was he? Well, he had to make a decision now, lest he needed more reason for Jim to come and break his bones.
