Yang x Emerald (Rumours, lies and half truths)

Emerald was not content as a student infiltrating Beacon academy. She longed for adventure and mischief. Most of her huntsmen training would be useless to her in only a few months once the plot to destroy Beacon academy was in effect. The Vytal tournament could not come soon enough! It did not help that Cinder ordered Emerald to keep her distance from other students.

“The less attachments the better,” Cinder would say.

In the long term, sure. But in the meanwhile, Mercury was the only person Emerald had to talk with regularly (and was no good for making conversation with). Cinder did not stick around Beacon academy much. She had too many calls with the White Fang, Dr Watts or Roman Torchwick keeping her preoccupied.

Emerald had to find some way to entertain herself… She told Mercury that was going to try squeezing some information out of Yang since Team RWBY interfered with the White Fang's Mount Glen base. However, Emerald did not want intel for the sake of Cinder’s nefarious schemes. She just wanted to mess with Yang’s head before the Vytal tournament.

Word had been floating around that Yang was a lesbian with the hots for Blake after the Beacon dance. The main culprit spreading the rumours was Cardin. It wouldn't be the first time Cardin stuck his nose into the love lives of other students... He was also responsible for making many students believe Velvet was a slut.

To anyone who has observed the way Yang behaves, it was obvious she might be queer. Some say that Yang might even be a futanari, though Emerald was doubtful. Yang was never shy about showing her assets, so why would she hide being a futanari? Or rather, why wouldn't she tell people if she was? Emerald suspected there must be something fake about Yang. She must be hiding something that goes beyond the gossip circulating around Beacon...

Emerald imagined all ways she could confuse Yang using her semblance. She thought the best way to screw with Yang's mind was casting an illusion to make herself appear as Blake. Maybe she could get Yang to confess her feelings for Blake if the rumours were true!

The possibilities were endless! Emerald was determined to know where the truth lay with Yang.
