Yang's awakening

Yang wakes up in her bed with little recollection of how the food fight started. The more pressing issue on her mind was who won! Ruby informs that Team RWBY won, but it came with consequences.

Yang is not too bothered upon hearing she will be stuck on kitchen duty for a month. As long as they are free during the Vytal festival, the punishment was tame. Though this does change some plans Yang made for partying. Yang laments not having more chances to get some use out of her Hunter outfit.

Weiss then decides to ask why Yang calls her new get-up her Hunter outfit? Yang laughs to herself bashfully...

"Take a wild guess..." Yang replies teasingly.

"Yang is hunting for a new boytoy," Ruby explains while rolling her eyes.

"Boytoy? I don't think so. I'm going skirt chasing!" Yang declares.

"You just woke up from a concussion and that's the first thing on your mind?" Blake comments.

"Hunger is what keeps us alive! If you stop wanting, you stop living!" Yang responds.

"The point I am trying to make is that Nora hit you really hard! You should take it easy," Blake explains.

"Oh yeah! I almost forgot that it was Nora who catapulted me into the skies! I think I'm in love..." Yang comments.

There is a moment of silence in Team RWBY's dorm. Perhaps Yang's head must still be fuzzy after her concussion. Because there is no way she just seriously said that out! Ruby, Weiss and Blake are unsure on how to respond to Yang's comment. They look at each other, wondering if they should clarify Yang's words.

"Um... Yang, are you sure I don't need to take you to the hospital? Unless my ears are deceiving, you just said that you're in love with Nora!" Ruby jokes.

"I didn't say that exactly, but I mean what I said! Who doesn't love a buff babe? She's got those thunder thighs! No one has ever hit me as hard as she did before," Yang gushes.

"To me, it sounds more like you are infatuated than in love. You have fallen for the idea of Nora," Blake says.

"That could be true... I do tend to catch feelings really easily. You sound like you know a lot about love," Yang replies.

"I do... and I don't at the same time..." Blake answers.

Yang asking Blake about her love life resurfaces memories of her relationship with Adam. It all began during a rally in Menagerie when three White Fang members were captured by human mercenaries.

Adam and Ilia reported to Sienna Khan that these operatives were captured while trying to Faunus being mistreated in SDC dust mines. This fateful night would be the date Blake first met Adam. She found him crying by a wall... when Adam realised that Blake spotted him, he tried to play it off as if nothing happened. Blake saw the SDC brand on his face. For a time, Blake was **** to know who Adam was beneath the mask.

Blake was terrified with the truth she unveiled. She thought Adam was an empathetic hero. Blake learned that it is unwise to become attached to our fantasies soon enough. Adam was driven solely by **** against humans, not care for Faunus. The idea of a person we may form in our minds can be detached from reality.

"You do know that Nora has eyes only for Ren right?" Ruby comments, derailing Blake's train of thought.

"If Ren doesn't lock it down, someone is bound to steal her!" Yang responds.

"Is your sister always like this?!" Blake asks Ruby.

"She has seasonal heats..." Ruby sighs.

"Speaking of seasons, I think we should all try skirt chasing when the Vytal festival arrives! It's easier for futanari to get some tail during Vytal festivals. Girls and futanari from all over Remnant will show up looking for fun! I wanna see what the menu from Vacou is like this time...” Yang announces.

“This time? Have you gone to a Vytal festival looking for some action before?” Blake questions.

“Very sharp Blake! Correct! I went to the Mistral Vytal festival two years ago with a group of friends. Vacuo has a lot of Faunus girls who are pretty open to futanari- meeting up with them was a blast!” Yang answers.

“Hold up. You’ve hit it with Faunus before?!” Blake says surprised.

“Of course! Do you know how hard it is for a futanari to get some human cheeks?! In Vale no less?!” Yang yells.

“Touché, point taken!” Blake acknowledges.

“I don’t care if they’re furry! I don’t care if they're scaly! If they are willing to give some tail, I am taking it!” Yang declares.

“DAMN! I didn't know you were into Faunus like that!” Blake exclaims.

Ruby and Yang burst out laughing together! Yang's taste for Faunus girls was a well kept secret between them. It is a relief to have this fact out in the open now. Ruby knew the chances that Yang was going to pursue a relationship with Blake upon learning they are a Faunus. Ruby was not sure how RWBY's team dynamic would be affected by potential relationships between teammates. This was an area of leadership where watching things play out is the best option.

Blake is impressed that Yang was open to relationships with Faunus! Including those fur and scales. Generally speaking, furry and scaly Faunus are considered unattractive by humans. However, Blake wonders if the topics of girls' love and interracial relationships has made Weiss feel uncomfortable. She has been noticeably quiet while the rest of the team has been bantering. Yang notices this too.

“Weiss, are you up for the hunt?” Yang asks.

“Me? Umm… I'm sorry, I don't follow,” Weiss replies, acting oblivious.

“This isn't Atlas Weiss! Come on! You can talk freely. I thought the whole point of you coming to Beacon was to escape the morality police in Atlas," Yang says.

"That wasn't the only reason," Weiss remarks.

"So you admit that you wanted to study far away from Atlas to hook up with girls?" Yang jibes.

"I did not say that!" Weiss says defensively.

"She's a lesbian!" Yang shouts teasingly.

"She likes girls!" Ruby adds.

"She's a le-le-le-le!" Blake adds, making a V with her fingers and poking her tongue through the middle.

"I'm not a lesbian!" Weiss declares.

"So you swing both ways?" Yang prods.

"I did not say that either!" Weiss says defiantly.

"Either you are a lesbian or you swing both ways. Because I know for a fact that you are not straight!" Ruby says.

"You all are just assuming that because I'm a futanari! That's discriminatory!" Weiss retorts.

"If we are going to tell the world that we are futanari, we should embrace being futanari! Which means experiencing the pleasures of both men and women! I can be your wingman if you want. Blake, are you up for the hunt?” Yang says.

With her former relationship still lingering in her mind, Blake is cautious about romance. Whether she answers yes or no has the power to swing the entire team in a given direction.
