Xixax

The terrible typhoons and raging sea storms that make the waters surrounding Eddonia impossible to traverse are the trademark of Xixax the terror of the sea. Xixax is known outside of Eddonia as a sea monster whom sailors and pirates spend drunken nights telling rumors of the creature in coastal taverns. But the creature is real and is not something you'd want to mess with as he'll do more than sink your ship.

Tales vary on sizes and shapes, but the sea.side village in Eddonia will tell you the truth about the monster of the deep. Most of him is like that of an octopus only there is a fish tail where his head should be and rows of sharp teeth replace the beak. Some tentacles end in barracuda jaws while most have a hidden appendage he uses on mostly women aboard the boats he sinks. Strands of kelp hang from his body and anemone are placed all around to ward of those who get too close.

As mentioned before, Xixax can create storms to hinder an invasion by sea into Eddonia. Schools of fish can be summoned at a moment's notice in case he needs to feed fishermen or attack something underwater. Otherwise he is well equipped to take on any threat as he can also become ethereal which is why he is able to move across vast distances of water north, south, or west of Eddonia's waters. The sea side village pray to him for a bountiful catch and occasionally offer up villagers to be ravaged by the mass of tentacles as he is often preoccupied with foreign ships. He'll seek them out, have his fun with any women and some men on board before crushing the ship, eating a few sailors, and fleeing to his underwater lair.
