Wyvern battle conclusion.

"I hate you so much Kazumaaaaaaa!!!" Aqua whined as she ran by the three wyverns, getting their attention, and as they moved after her, Kazuma chucked a rock at the parent. This successfully got that particular beast's attention off of Aqua, and it roared before crawling right at him. Just before it reached him, Darkness ran out of hiding and grabbed it by the tail, making it bellow in protest, and look back at her.

Kazuma seized his chance and ran forward, grabbing his blade and yanking it out. With the sword no longer plugging blood flow, blood gushed out, and the Wyvern recoiled, thrashing as its life drained away before it collapsed.

Meanwhile, Cremea and Fio had kept on tag teaming the other parent. Fio had managed to cut into the wing membrane of said beast with her dagger, but had eventually gotten stung, so was lying prone. Cremea however was swinging away with her mace, each blow doing some painful damage to the wyvern. It roared, and thrust its tail at her, but she brought up her shield to deflect the blow. Then it lunged its head to bite her, but the dodged, and slammed her mace down on top of its head as hard as she could. Its chin hit the ground as it laid, dazed, and Cremea took advantage to go to town on the beast. It was dead after a few more blows. She scooped Fio up, and ran towards Kazuma just in time to see his opponent bleeding out.

"Where's Aqua?" Cremea asked, holding Fio over her shoulder.

"Oh, she's that way, leading on the two remaining adolescent ones," Kazuma replied. "We better go help her."

Cornered against a boulder, Aqua was crying comically as she swung a tree branch she had picked up around, just comically flailing. "Get away from me, you stupid brutes!" she screamed.

The two wyverns approached her slowly, intending to savor their snack... "Ahem..." Only to pause and slowly turn to look backwards and see Kazuma, Darkness and Cremea right behind them. "Step away from the Goddess," Kazuma told the two smaller wyverns, even as Cremea and Darkness smirked sadistically, the latter cracking her knuckles. The two adolescents began sweating profusely in terror. They never stood a chance.

"You okay?" Kazuma asked Megumin as he went to pick her up after that bit of business had been taken care of.

"Yeah, really happy right now," she grinned.

"I'm fine too, thanks for asking," Aqua pouted.

"Oh suck it up, it was only a little scare you suffered," Kazuma waved her off.

"I could have died!" Aqua protested.

"So could the rest of us, and I came pretty close to it at one point, what's your point?" Kazuma drawled.

"You suck!" Aqua stuck her tongue out at him.

"And you swallow!" he riposted.

"...how are those two not married?" Fio stage whispered to Cremea, who snorted in amusement. They were starting to get used to the crazy in this party. Granted, they had their quirks too, but they weren't as bad as these maniacs...
