Wyev

A guardian unlike most of its kind, Wyev is protects the jungle region near the border that is proving to be an obstacle for the Imalti forces. It doesn't even have a caretaker in the traditional sense as all of the village preform the occasional ritual to aid it or a rite to ask for aid. Once one steps into the jungle, your presence is known and Wyev will have it's eyes on you until you leave.

Wyev is the jungle itself, so ancient of a being that it grew to this size over the course of millennia. It is possibly one of the oldest guardians and has yet to be reincarnated once as one would need to kill the entire jungle. The guardian was born a single spore that grew into an underground fungus and from there the mycorrhizae grew out further until they've attached to every plant in jungle. Each tree, each flower, every blade of grass moves at Wyev's will for they are it.

The sentient plant provides for the people and keeps them safe in a close thicket of trees where they live among the canopy and away from danger. Wyev itself is hidden away in a temple built long ago that leads to an underground passage, all of it now over grown and a part of the jungle now. Those who pass through this place may be treated to Wyev's lust as they are dragged away and defiled by it vines then left back on the path when its done with every hole he/she had. Many of the soldiers who entered the jungle have yet to return and some that do lost their armor and even their will to fight.
