Writer's Guide + FAQ

Some guidelines for how I want things to be formatted.

• All stories that are not fanfiction should go in the "Real World" category.
• Please set up your chapters to allow for other users to add their own story in the same category.
• Please do not write chapters in second person. (I.e, you can refer to the main character as "I" or "He". Do not use "You".)
• No diapers or scat.
• Please make sure your chapters are proofread.

The story is set to "Public", but if you fail to comply with these rules I may delete your chapters.

FAQ

This segment will contain questions that other writers may have about the story and mechanics. This will be filled out as more edge cases appear or people ask questions.

Question: Exactly what constitutes a "command"?

Answer: Commands must be direct. Saying something like "Do this" or "You're not allowed to do X" counts as a command. Statements such as "Can you do X?" or "I want you to do X" are considered requests, not commands, and the power will not activate.

Question: How exactly will men, and people who have not been given commands, react to commands?

Answer: As stated in the intro chapter, men and subjects without active commands will not be legally able to stop subjects from carrying out commands. However, they will be able to form their own opinions on what is going on. If the King makes an order such as "I want you to let Person X do Action Y to you", whether or not Person X does Action Y is up to them. However, if they do choose to do Action Y, Person X will enjoy the same "above the law" power as the King, as long as they are acting within the permissions given by the King.
