As I quickly get dressed in my clothes and head downstairs for dinner, I think about what just happened. Lily barely even spoke to me before this morning, let alone flirted with me! Something strange is going on and it's something to do with Aphrodite.

We eat breakfast in silence for a while, trying not make eye contact with Lily but I knew she was staring at me.

Mom breaks the silence 'John, I won't be able to drive you to the gym today, I'll be heading for drinks with a couple of girl friends. You don't mind taking him, do you Lily?'

I look at Lily like a deer in headlights. She just innocently looks at Mom with a mouthful of eggs. 'Sure, no problem.'
