World lore (text heavy no pictures or erotica)
World lore: (might make separate branch for this later)
Food
A world with magic as prevalent as this one should clearly derive a great benefit from it similar to how modern technology did for us when it comes to agriculture with artificial fertiliser and more efficient farming.
So despite the world being treacherous and filled with monsters food is generally not an issue as magic means and transport allow for greater production and transport of food across the continent utilising cold magic and divine power to keep things from spoiling as fast as they would in an actual medieval world. Keeping prices affordable.
I am not talking about low fantasy where magic is a mystery only known to few.
It just makes no sense how despite magic being practically everywhere in some fantasy settings the most fundamental needs of humans somehow aren’t being met despite druids being able to create forests out of nothing and magician strong enough to manipulate the weather. Surely something can be done about food shortages.
Sure there are those who die of hunger even in our modern world but that is a problem of distribution not overall food production.
Therefore unless in a conflict zone or during war, food is not an issue and the population is mainly limited due to the monster attacks and wars between nations.
Caravan & World economy
While this world might look medieval especially in this rural area Claire found herself in, the closer inland you go the more advanced it becomes with magic replacing many modern inventions and supporting a healthy economy keeping prices for common goods affordable similar to how the industrialisation did in our world. With it currently going through a Renaissance era by rediscovering many inventions of the fallen Adrian empire which is also the reason relic prices have shot up recently as kingdoms have started investing in unearthing old ruins and reverse engineering relics in the hope of discovering new applications and technologies as well as replicating useful relics like the recording crystals. There has already been moderate success with inferior recordings crystals slowly entering the market in limited quantity though claire doesn’t know about that as it was only ever mentioned as a footnote in game.
As the world progresses in different ways from our own it is hard to put a time stamp on it. The outer lands far away from civilisation will still have people living in tribes no different from the barbaric tribes during roman times or vikings up to the first millennium. Magic kingdoms and those specialising in trade will have embraced magic and its conveniences and be closer to the late Renaissance or even the Enlightenment era.
The current empire built on the ruins of the fallen Adrian empire on the other hand will keep to tradition having inherited many peculiarities from ancient times making it difficult to put into any definite timeframe. Imagine the Byzantine empire the last remnant of the Roman empire not having fallen after the battle of Constantinople but instead surviving for several more centuries. Thereby is the Renaissance this world entered not due to the flood of people fleeing from a fallen empire like it happened in our world but due to the rediscovery and deciphering of runes by researchers which allowed for replication of old relics and started a race between nations on who could discover and reverse engineer the most useful relics first. Investing heavily in deciphering old texts and arts leading to a thriving world at the precipice of a magic industrial revolution yet to come. Though that is something that will only go into full effect in a decade or two after Claires journey if it weren’t for the meddling of demons that is. For the most part outside of capitals and large trade cities the setting will be late Medieval to early Renaissance.

Waking up as a heroine
A spicy fantasy story from the opposite site of the Curtain
After a weekend of relentless trial and error, I finally broke her—corrupted her. She was the strongest-willed character in the game, resisting longer than anyone, my favorite by far. I’d barely scratched the surface of her lewd scenes, so many still locked away, taunting me. With exams looming, I figured I’d have to abandon the chase—but fate, it seems, had other plans…
