World Building Details

Werewolves age in reverse dog years, so a 490 year old werewolf would be aged 70, 350 is middle aged, and 175 is considered young. The Silverbacks are a council of Werewolf elders who govern Werewolf Packs to keep them from infighting, other than that regional Alphas do as they will. The werewolves are the most populous and organized of the animal shifters, but there are other species of skinchanger (Cat, Rat, and so on). All of these animal people are collectively referred to as Wildbloods by the monster underworld.

Vampires don’t age, so they can live for thousands of years. So they dress in the fashion of the era they are from. Rarely adjusting to the time. The vampires are referred to as Bluebloods by their fellow monsters (a reference to their usual upper class station, and to the fact that their blood runs cold).

Witches are mysterious and becoming both rare and commonplace. There are plenty of magic practitioners and some even have the gift, but the old world witch with arcane knowledge passed down from the first Witch Queen of Russia, Baba Yaga are nearly nonexistent in america. whose witches huts are in suburban neighborhoods due to urban sprawl over taking the forest. They are the Fae blood.

Zombies, Mummies, and Ghouls are created through necromantic ceremony. There were experiments in the 1940s that created the Draugr virus, a kind of sympathetic spell that simultaneously kill and resurrect the victim. This virus has mutated a great deal, creating many kinds of zombies. These undead creatures are called the Cold Bloods.

The Great lakes are home to a thriving underwater society of fish people known as the Old Ones. The inspiration of lovecraft's tales, though their religion was distorted and perverted by Howard's Demented bigoted mind.

Hugo Danner, is the first synthetic superhuman born in 1893, disappearing in Mexico in 1926. Until he is recruited into the Patriot Privateers alongside Cody (A rocketeer expy who is also a tuskegee airman, though the wider public does not know that he is black initially), Black Bat (a Shadow expy, who is a vampire), and Yank Doodle (a Captain america Expy who is secretly a werewolf and a Civil war era Spy).
