Work first, get Tori some clothes!

"That'll be $139.44."

You pulled out a bunch of twenty-dollar bills, setting them on the counter. Other people seemed to stare at your ruined attire, the clerk included. You bit your lip, a little nervous by all the staring at your essentially stolen body. "It, uh... I was moving, and we hit a pothole, and wouldn't you know it, the cleaning supplies made a huge mess over everything," you said with a nervous chuckle. "I have to start fresh somewere, right?"

The lady behind the counter, Patricia, nodded once she heard your plight. "You poor thing! Tell you what... $111.55. A 20% moving discount, welcome to Midvale!" She squints at you, looking closer. "You're familiar somehow. You know a Victoria Ward, by any chance? Maybe a Peter Becker? I know most of the town, you have this look like you might be cousins of one of them. Or both!"

You blinked, somehow worried that you'd been caught and everyone would just somehow know that you were sneaking around town in Tori's body! "Uh, nope, doesn't ring a bell. I'm... uh, Piper."

"Well, Piper, nice to see a new face in Midvale. Hope to be seeing you around lots, we've got the spring festival coming up next week, I'd love to see you there! Good chance to make some new acquaintances, maybe find a cute guy of your own?" Patricia winked, tapping at your empty ring finger.

"Ah haha, yeah! Yeah, that would be..." you glanced down at yourself, "...socially expected of me, a regular girl, I suppose. Hey, do you mind if I use the changing room one more time? I'd really like to toss these clothes."

"Be my guest, dear." Patricia smiled as you slinked back into the changing room, and hastily slipped out of the clothes you'd already been in. This first stop in town was just for the basics: underwear, a variety of bras, simple shirts, pants and skirts. Using Tori's memories, you tried to gauge what would make for good replacements for her preferences. Tori preferred comfortable clothes with usually solid colors for the most part, at least for her normal day to day wear. You wanted to get that out of the way first, to see what would be in the budget for a few more exciting purchases! With your mind able to conjure up Tori's personality and preferences at a whim, you could more easily gauge if certain clothes might appeal to both you and her for maximum potential that she would wear them for you.

And if she didn't, maybe then they just end up being Piper clothes..! If you ever did this again with Tori's body, at least.

You paused to admire your body in the full-length mirror once more, once you were no longer wearing any of Tori's old clothes. Your fingers traced those breasts again, glancing between them and your lovely eyes more than once. Your breath quickened as you looked at yourself, feeling a flutter of arousal with the knowledge that you and Tori's attraction to this form was merged together, in a strange way. Even if you knew Tori preferred men, it seemed that with your inclusion in her body via a channeling, she was swept along for the ride! Even if it was the same body she had seen in the mirror every day, you knew that your added perspective would make the difference.

Not wanting to get in trouble by spending too long admiring yourself, you pulled a couple recently purchased items out of your bag, slipping into them. You'd picked a simple beige tank top with an olive green button-up blouse for the top, and tucked it all into a pair of cute boot-cut jeans in dark blue. It looked really fresh and clean, and the new fabric felt amazing on your skin!

"Hi, I'm Piper," you tried saying to yourself in the mirror, getting a feel for this look now that you felt like you'd taken a good first step. Still, your mannerisms seemed a little too distant, too wooden. You closed your eyes, purposefully compelling Tori's expertise in how to behave like a woman to the fore, and you saw an entire shift in demeanor as your hips canted slightly, your smile widened, your whole posture and energy just altered to match Tori's naturally friendly persona! "Hey, I'm Piper!" you said more enthusiastically, reaching forward like you were about to shake your own hand, only for it to bonk into the mirror. "Ow." You shook your hand out, to get rid of the pain. Note to self: you need to still be aware of your surroundings if you push Tori's mind to do something for you!

"Everything alright in there?" Patricia asked, before you hurried up and opened the door. You nodded at Patricia, who clapped her hands together at the sight of you looking properly stylish. "Aw, you look lovely dear!"

"Thanks, I... I do like it quite a bit," you said, glancing down. It wasn't a lie, you liked it and you felt Tori liked it. You were just surprised by how much you enjoyed this particular perspective, from Tori's own body!

Picking up your bags, you waved at Patricia, and headed back to the car. The haul you'd collected already accounted for the majority of what would get Tori through day-to-day stuff. You looked at your list and continued on the way for a few more purchases. Some warmer clothes like a jacket and sweatshirts, a few cute dresses and more formal wear, and that covered everything!

Well... mostly.

You already had some money set aside for all that other stuff, which would get Tori everything she needed to be back on her feet wardrobe-wise. But you did save a little extra cash for 'fun' clothes. And as you looked on the map on your phone at all the other potential places you could go, you guessed that you would have to choose maybe one store to stock up on clothes that were meant to definitely interest you. Midvale had a few clothes shops to choose from, but you had to consider what Tori would actually be willing to wear!

You let Tori's mind drive her finger, letting her scroll while you watched the thoughts soar by. There were so many to choose from! Intimate apparel, sporty swimwear, elegant cocktail dresses, costumes and uniforms... not that you didn't like how Tori would look in the clothes you'd just purchased! You liked Tori in her normal clothes, or these 'new normal' clothes, but if Tori wanted to get closer to you, you kind of want to figure out what a 'baseline Tori' would consider sexy, without input from any other channeled minds since those will give you all sorts of other opportunities. Ultimately, though, you wanted to maximize your opportunities with all versions of her, so when her finger finally stopped and paused on a particular point on the map, you regained your focus and looked at the screen to see what clothing store excited Tori the most...
