Liana sent off the email and closed her laptop. She hated to cancel class, but it was necessary. She groaned as Leviathan played. UNMOVED for 26. They were basically tied even with the PW tile she'd used up. She knew she was stuck. If she didn't play she couldn't remove the punishments, but if she did she'd end up with more. Her research into the app was going nowhere and her own personal experience told her just walking away wouldn't ever be an option.

She didn't have time to dwell. Time was ticking down.

At least there was no PW tile available. She made use of her Q to play QUID, on a double word for 28 points.

Leviathan countered with FIZ, playing off it's own UNMOVED for 41 fucking points. Not even using a PW tile, specifically the one just above the D in QUID which was now wide open for Liana to use, and use it she did.

KAY, for 49 points. At least she was winning.

"Fuck." Liana couldn't believe it.

SOOTIER, playing off KAY, for 75 points. Liana was down by 37.

Her fingers moved before her brain could process what she was doing. She stared at the word is disbelief. IRE. 9. She'd gone for the PW tile even though it made absolutely no sense. She could've gone elsewhere. She saw a word worth 45 points but no...she'd had to go with IRE.

The game was over. Leviathan played JET for 51 points to truly drive it home. She'd been crushed. Immediately the game presented her with her three new PW related punishments.
