Words with Fiends - 41

It was eerily quiet when Kayla woke up. She couldn't remember the last time she woke up totally alone. She didn't have time to dwell on the experience though, as AWAKES took over and **** her to start masturbating. She kept going right until the very edge of orgasm before her hand was flung away. She groaned in displeasure. She knew from experience she'd have to wait now, it didn't count as an edge if she just kept going.

With a groan she crawled out of bed and went to the bathroom. She sighed looking at the shower, remembering she couldn't bathe herself anymore. She'd have to go back to Dr. Moreau's house to get help before going to work today. Then she made her way to the kitchen, only to realize they had no food. It made sense, they hadn't been here in days.

At least she hadn't brought all her clothes to Dr. Moreau's, and she was able to get dressed. The stupid dog collar was still around her neck, the leash draped between her breasts. She couldn't touch it no matter what she did, but Sienna's trick of covering it up still worked. A short skirt and a turtleneck and she was ready to go. She headed out to find a spot for breakfast, she settled on a small cafe in the neighbourhood, ordering a simple croissant sandwich and coffee.

As she finished her sandwich, she decided it was as good a time as any to play Words with Fiends. As much as she wanted to just ignore it, she knew the fiends wouldn't let her just quit, and playing was the only way to get rid of DJINN, among other punishments.

She started the game and immediately frowned. A few words came to mind instantly, but the idea of hitting the PW tile right off the bat made her nervous. Without that, she didn't have much in terms of points. Finally she realized there was something she could do. JIN, for 24.

Belial played immediately, HEX, making JINX, for 32 points.

There was fine, she wasn't down by much.

Kayla bit her lip. She didn't see anything amazing. She could at least match her first word, and eventually played GEM, for 24.

Belial took advantage of the open PW tile to play PAGOD. Kayla had no idea what a PAGOD was, except that it was 36 points. It wasn't huge, but she was starting to fall behind.

Kayla felt a little bit of panic now. There wasn't even the chance to use the PW tile. She could play a 4 letter word to ruin it for Belial, but that seemed pointless because she'd lose no matter what if she wasted a turn like that. The very best she could see was only 20 points. She looked and looked, but with time running out she was **** to play it. JAVA, 20 points.

Belial gave her a chance, playing OKAY for 22 points. It had a 22 point lead, but now 3 PW tiles were available to her. She frantically searched for a word that would get her enough points, and when she found it she paled. That would be...it would be bad. She just knew it.

DITZY.

That was the only word she saw that would give her a chance to win. She really didn't want to mess with her intelligence. Not that it necessarily would, but it wouldn't be good no matter what it was.

Time was running out. She had to make a decision.

"Fuuuck." She said quietly. She played it. 72 points, and a 50 point lead. She just prayed it was enough.

Belial played. OWN, on the PW tile. 29 points.

"YES!" She yelled. Then she looked up and blushed as the whole cafe looked at her, "Sorry." She said in a normal voice. Then she looked back at the screen. She'd won. The PW tile had sealed her victory. The only question was...was it worth it?

As much as she'd gotten use out of the 5$ discount perk, she would rather remove punishments. Downgrading two was tempting, but she selected the removal of 1 instead.

"Yes." She whispered. DJINS. That fucking punishment was finally gone!

Then her expression hardened. Time to find out her punishment.

DITZY - Your speech will be altered to make you sound ditzy.

She sighed in relief. That, she could handle. It didn't mess with her actual intelligence, just how she spoke.

She finished off her coffee and decided to order another one. It would be a good test of her new speech pattern.

"Um, hi!" She was a little thrown off by how bubbly she sounded, but she pressed on, "Could I like, um have a whatchamacallit? Coffee with the milk, you know, foamy...ummm..." She wasn't trying to say all that, but the words just came out. She wanted a latte. Just a latte. She knew what a latte was. She worked at a coffee shop! She was so embarassed.

"A latte?" The cashier asked.

"Yeah! Totz!" Kayla said in her new bubbly tone.

"Suuure." The cashier punched it in, "That's $6.50, but with your discount, $1.50."

"Huh?" Kayla said. Huh? She'd meant to say 'yes'.

"Huh?" The cashier said back, confused.

Kayla decided it would be better not to speak. She took out her wallet and handed over a toonie. The cashier tried to give her chance but she shook her head, "Like, keep it!"

Then she quickly left to head to the end to wait for her coffee. It was going to be an interesting shift.

Her phone buzzed.
