Won't prevent the girls from doing something.

If Rei's words weren't enough to convince you that your choice did matter to them, the fact that both Rei and Douma started nuzzling against you would change it. Everything in this room, this room of your manor, could be of use to remind you that you had a place there, with the girls living in this place. Yet the only thing that really reminded you of this fact was the three girls with you on the couch, Allit sitting on your knees, still pouting, but a slight smile inching on her face, while the first two girls you met nuzzled cutely against you.

A sudden rush of affection got you, and you hugged the three of them, taking all of them by surprise, while you said.

"It is I who have to be glad of staying, despite leaving behind my home world..." You started by saying, feeling calm and serene for the first time in quite a while, if you consider the time you spent ****. "I can't say that I would have still chosen to stay if I had my memories, but if we were to get in the exact same situation as today, where I don't have any memories, I'll make the same choice."

"Don't say that, master..." Allit answered, her voice shaky and her tail swaying slowly. "You're gonna make me cry..."

You wanted to thank the Ladies too, but when you looked at the spot they were in only minutes earlier, they already disappeared. Your only guess was that they got outside of the manor, either to train or to do something else, you still didn't really know what they were doing in their free time after all. Even knowing this though, you didn't want to move for now, staying there while hugging the three girls was enough for you, at least for now, and it filled you with warmth.

All four of you stayed like this for a moment, before Allit eventually yawned, deciding to get out of your arms and off your knees, before she said, as playfully as it was teasing.

"I'll be right back master, don't do anything you might regret while I can't look after you, okay ?"

Then, she got out of the room, presumably out of the manor too, since you could hear the noise of the large doors opening and closing. Right after, Douma moved to sit on your lap, hugging your head and burying it between her breasts, which felt quite good to you, if you were to be honest. The only problem was that you couldn't say a word that wouldn't be muffled like that.

"Adam, I hope you will take care of yourself this time. Do not let the God of Chaos' words get to you, please." Asked Douma in a soft tone. You couldn't see her eyes, but you could swear they were shining with worry anyway.

You would have thought Rei would have at least done something to be the one doing this to you, yet she only wrapped her foxy tail around your arm, so you guessed your mental calendar needed an update, since you were sure she was in her heat period. What Rei said surprised you quite a bit, actually.

"While you were ****, Adam, Douma and I decided to search for someone who could teach us to use stronger magic."

You tried to ask why, but all that got to Rei and Douma's ears was a muffled word that none of them could understand, even with Rei's sensitive ears, which made you wonder about how Douma's chest could muffle sounds so much. Lucky you, you did not need to get your head out of those soft pillows, since Douma said.

"Rei came up to me, looking worried when we first came back home with Allit, while you were ****. She was feeling useless for you, as her illusion magic is not that developed yet. In all honesty, I felt pretty useless too, since my healing magic would have been of no use against Allit if she decided to end you. That is why we decided to search for a teacher."

You did not think that they were useless at all, yet you could not deny your understanding of their point. It was true that their magic wasn't that useful in the last battles you fought, since either it did not manage to help a whole lot, or they were just unable to use it. With this thought came another one : maybe it was also your fault, since you were supposed to be the party's leader, yet you never came up with a plan, nor treid to take advantage of their powers...
