Won't go back in his ball

You hold out the ball to put pikachu back and it slaps the ball away then thundershocks it. The ball is a useless pile of slag, he won't ever be getting back in there. You think for a moment and shrug "Well ok if you don't like your ball you don't have to go back, but don't break anything else." You wag your finger sternly at him and he squeaks "pika!" You melt giving him another big hug and picking him up like a teddy bear.

You are wandering back home to do a little training when blue acosts you on the path. "Hey there red, that gramps' pikachu? That is a nice one, gramps says it is the most powerful young pikachu he has seen since he got his own as a kid." You smile, if blue were more like this you may not hate him so much. "How about we see how right gramps is hu? " blue holds up his pokedex and points it at you making your's chime "You have been issued an official challenge for $20,000" Blue smiles "That should be plenty to get you started on your journey don't you think?" You just gulp knowing what that means if you lose.
