Willpower check

You are just about to drop your weapon, when you realize something is incredibly wrong. You shake your head, to no effect. Feeling so weak you can barely stand, you somehow manage to take your knife and cut a slice in one of your fingers.

The pain allows you something to focus on, and your sense of strength returns. Whatever that spell or poison was, it really was scary. Any one affected would likely be naked and weapon less, easy prey to whatever set the trap. Tgis could mean you have the advantage now, as it won’t be ready for an armed foe. On the other hand, if this is its first trap, it could have more ready...

You decide to risk it, hoping that such an elaborate trap would mean it is the only one. Steeling yourself, you have your knife at the ready, the best weapon of the cave is narrow, and clump through the stony hole.

The original smell dissipates as you work your way through the tunnel. Clearly it was designed to protect the entrance, not the entire cave. You continue in, the tunnel darkening until it opens into a large caver, maybe fifty yards across and 20 yard in height. The cavern is covered in blue crystals, sapphires or something similar. You wonder if they are magical, as the entire cavern is lit in a blue hue. A small creek runs down a wall and across the floor, with plants along the creek bed. On the far wall, decorated in many picked and grown petals flowers was a stone throne... and upon it was the creature you were tracking.

You had only heard legends of these creatures, and never met a warrior that had survived an encounter. Sitting comfortably on her throne was a succubus, the definition of a creature of lust and magic. Her face was stunning, with high cheekbones, bright yellow eyes, and two long curved horns on her intricately fashioned hair. Her torso was bare minus the painted streaks of magical berries, which did nothing to cover her large perfect breasts. Her legs were crossed, long and elegant even with the fact they were covered in a layer of fur and ended in large hooves. You had heard different legends of succubuses origins. Some claimed they were a demon race, summoned by wizards as personal toys if the wizard was skilled, and would enslave and drain the wizard if they were not. Other tales said they were women who worshipped a dark goddess, who changed her followers into her image. Finally, the tale you believed were that they were just another type of forest beast, but one with a skill in lustful magic.

You creep forward, knife at the ready as you enter the cavern. You plan to move along the exterior and get the drop on it... even if you don’t quite know what you would do after that yet.
