Willow and Tara come clean

"It's actually kind of funny if you think about it--" Willow began.

"We were cleaning out Willow's stuff because she's moving back to campus. Well, she was, now we're both here obviously--" Tara continued.

"And we sorta had sex--" Willow added.

"Wait," Faith interrupted, giving the two witches a skeptical look that was at least an improvement over psychotic murderlust. "How can you 'sorta' have sex?"

"Well there was grape juice..." Tara started to explain, before recognizing how absurd that sounded and trailing off.

"Okay, that's the first thing you've said that makes sense," Faith said. "I remember there was this one time in Denver with a bottle of Welch's and these two beefsticks. Dumb but built, ya know? They couldn't compare to Xandra, but as sex with guys goes it was hella hot. I came like a freight train. Then left on a freight train before they regained consciousness." Faith smiled at the memory, looking like a normal person (except for the knife, of course) for a moment, before her obsession reasserted itself. "But what does this have to do with Xandra?"

"Xander saw us and said he wished he was a lesbian," Willow replied.

"So we turned him into one and had a threesome," Tara added. "Which was AMAZING, you really should try a threesome with Xandra and another girl."

"That does sound wicked awesome," Faith conceded. "After I kill Buffy and run off with Xandra we'll definitely pick up some side-chicks."

"No, no Buffy-killing! Buffy-killing is no!" Willow insisted. "But anyway we had such an incredible time that Xander decided to stay a girl, so we did another teeny-tiny little spell to make everyone remember him as always being a girl, so... Xandra. And if someone else hadn't laid a whammy on you, everything would be completely normal except for that one tiny change." Tara nodded emphatically, as blissfully unaware of her own changes in behavior as she was of the other effects Xandra was having on Sunnydale, and other parts of southern California.
