Why do they hear boss music

With my weapon ready and my loyal but mostly useless minions at my side I steel myself to meet my first opponents in this new world. The door burst open and the blue haired swordsman walks into the throne room followed by his companion. Now that I can see them face to face, I'm able to use my God's Eye to check their status;

No wonder he could one shot my imps; this guy is just dumping all his gains on his Physical attack and could he be even more of a cliche...

• Edmund's childhood friend and fellow orphan, despite her faint-hearted attitude she decided to become an adventurer to support him, her dream is to one day confess her feelings to Edmund and spend the rest of her life with him.

Ok I take that back; this girl takes the cliche cake. And they really are just a couple of newbies, outside my dungeon they might be a challenge but inside there's no way they could defeat me, nevertheless I can't go easy on them. Ok, time to put my game face on.

"Who dares enter my domain!?" Nailed it!

"We are Lucy and Edmund from Newlight Town and we are here to end your reign of terror you demon!" The blue-haired swordsman answers.

Reign of terror? Dude this is literally my first day in your world, aren't you a little too excited. I bet you were probably looking forward to the day when you could say that.

"Ed look behind him! Is that... an angel? Oh no! He must have captured her for some evil plan!" Lucy points towards Ariel who was trying to scurry outside the throne room.

"An angel!? By the Goddesses! Don't worry lady angel we will defeat the evil demon and set you free!" Edmund declares to Ariel.

"Ah, captured!? Well, you see, you are not wrong, but, is a little complicated... Also, I'm not a girl!" Ariel stammers as the two enthusiastic would-be heroes call him out.

"Enough prattle! Prepare yourselves" I yell and command my Lesser Imps to attack the adventurer duo. Emboldened by my Inspiring Core they put up a much better fight than the past group of imps and they are even able to deflect some of Edmund's attacks now. Just like before I order them to focus on the weak Cleric girl forcing Edmund to stay on the defensive to protect her.

"You can't even deal with my minions, how do you expect to defeat me 'hero'" I taunt Edmund making him forget about protecting his companion and instead focus his aggression on me, he lets out a scream and comes charging towards me prepared to strike me with his sword, his attack is devoid of any technique and I easily block him with my sword and counterattack with a mighty strike that almost knocks him out.

"Ed no!" Lucy cries and attempts to heal the swordsman but she is unable to cast her spells as the imps keep attacking her and pushing her back until she finds herself against a wall of the room. The imps ready themselves to attack her but I order them to stop and instead to bring her to me.
