Wherever the road takes them Part Two

Spencer pulled up by the Oxford Diner. When they sat at a table, Spencer said "Hope you're not sick of diners?"

"No, but I might have to spend this week working it off..." Evelyn shrugged.

"I think we both know how to do that." He winked, causing Evelyn to chuckle.

"Never let a good crisis go to waste?"

"If DC taught me anything."

"Well you've got my vote."

After lunch, Spencer drove out of Oxford a random direction. As he left the town, Evelyn said "Now, let's see how lost we can get."

"Don't be like that."

"What? Nothing wrong with getting lost."

"What about the kids?"

"Eh, they're teenagers. They're probably too busy looking at their phones to notice."

After a slight laugh, Spencer said "Guess they'll survive if we're a bit late."

"Exactly. Worse comes to worst we can both head there in this car."

Content with her answer, Spencer continued driving through the barren fields. As he continued, he sighed "Guess I chose the wrong road."

"Well to be fair it's not like I had any better plans. Anyway, we're only getting started."

As they continued to drive, a forest appeared, so Spencer pulled up.

"Not going to go any further?" Evelyn said.

"Not in the car." With a cocky smile, Spencer turned to Evelyn. "Plus someone said something about needing an extra work out?"

As she rolled her eyes, Evelyn said "Me and my big mouth."

"Well by the looks of it we'll probably be alone, so we can even do your favorite exercise."

Evelyn roared with laughter, making Spencer's devious smile grow. After catching her breath, she said "Well, you remember last time when we were alone in a forest?"

"Vividly. Only now I'm a little more insatiable."

"A little?" Evelyn giggled before Spencer kissed her.

"Okay. Maybe a lot."

"Come on then, let's see how insatiable you are."
