When in Rome...

Alexis : "Sure"

Maybe the wine would help you relax and stop being so preoccupied with the foreign sensations...

Cerve wanders to the side of the pool and flags down one of the clothed attendants. With a hand signal and a few words exchanged the young woman goes to fetch a trio of goblets and hands them to Cerve before pouring a generous helping into each. Having retrieved her prize Cerve wades back to the two of you and you're about to take a swig when Sammy insists on a toast.

Samantha : "To exploring new experiences!"

Cerve : "To the sisterhood!"

You cringed slightly at that one. You couldn't think of anything specific and somewhat lamely just said.

Alexis : "To Rome!"

The wine was very different from what you were used to. Bitter, vinegary and with herbs mixed in. You can't say you liked it very much, Sammy made a face to the same effect.

Cerve : "I guess that really doesn't need to be accurate..."

The color of the liquid in your cup changed. You braved another sip and it tasted like a delicious modern vintage.

Alexis : "Much better"

You take another deep swig. You think it can't be affecting you this soon but you feel your body relax anyways. After all the activity and change, not just today but all week, it felt good to just exist in the tepid water. You wade over to the edge of the pool and set your goblet down. The side is shallow enough to sit and rest your shoulder on the wall of the bath. You close your eyes and let out a slow exhale. You feel an unusual peace.

You hear a disturbance in the water without opening your eyes you can hear someone take a place just a few feet from you. You open one eye just long enough to peak at the strange girl who had become a quick friend. She seems to have been possessed by the same desire to just sit back and take a moment.

She was quite pretty. There was a contentment on her face that you don't think you've seen before. You felt happy that she was this comfortable around you.

You close your eyes and just enjoy the atmosphere. You could hear gentle chatter from the other women socializing. The gentle sound of running water. As you took another deep breath and you can smell the perfumed oils used by the other women on the air. You're aware of your new breasts on your chest as you breath, lending a new but not uncomfortable weight to your breathing.
