What if people had to obey me?

Max thought. "What if people had to obey me?"

Nothing happened. He then heard his twin sisters arguing the hall. He sighed and looked out the window. It had rained, and everything was wet. He went to his door and opened it. Cindy and Mindy were in the hall arguing about whose turn it was to clean their room.

"It's a pig sty!" said Cindy. She was wearing gym shorts and a tank top.

"It's all your crap!" Mindy shot back. She was wearing light blue pajama shorts and matching halter top.

Max rolled his eyes. "Go wrestle in the front yard. Loser cleans the room."

His sisters glared at him then turned and walked down the hall. Max followed them down the stairs and out the front door. He watched in disbelief as the two girls, who also looked like they could not believe what they were doing, started wrestling in the wet lawn.

"Loser is the first one stripped naked!" yelled Max. He took his phone out of his pocket and recorded his sisters clutching and clawing at each other's clothes and cursing each other.

He smiled and went back inside, locking the front door behind him. "Gonna be a great fucking day!" he said aloud.

"Watch the potty mouth!" said his cousin Stephanie. She was 21, a college drop out who just lounged around the house trying to become a successful vlogger.

"Potty mouth, eh?" said Max.

"Yes, grow up!" said Stephanie.

"Why don't _you _go wash your mouth out with soap then rinse it in the toilet."

Stephanie was going to spit something back at Max but turned and walked towards the downstairs bathroom as Max followed. In the bathroom, she squirted some hand soap into her hand then rubbed it on her tongue. She gagged a few times before kneeling by the toilet and scooping toilet water into her mouth. She rinsed her mouth and spit over and over and over. She then looked up at Max. "What the hell?"

"Don't look at me," said Max.

Stephanie took Max literally and looked away. "Why did I just do this? What did you do to me?"

"Nothing, now today go apply for a job at Great Burger and do whatever you need to do to get the job." Max whistled and walked off. He went upstairs, brushed his teeth, combed his hair and got ready for school. There was a banging on the front door.
