Chapter 4 by Wikia Wikia

So which Disney princess do you pick?

What if Mulan actually was Fa Zhou's son?

Shang's first day managing his infantry wasn't a pretty one. Nor was Fa Ping's first day at the camp, having come to take his father's place. One thing led to another and half the camp's men wanted to pick a fight with him. Ping was never the manliest of men in his village, and now he was off to take his father's place in a war. Using his wits, he managed to avoid most of the punches thrown by throwing himself onto the ground while the rest of the men where

"Soldiers!"

The rabble all stopped their brawl in the presence of their general. Realizing that heads would roll, everyone pointed fingers as a singular body.

"He started it!"

All fingers pointed to a young man, having rolled into a fetal position to avoid the ****. Shang gave him a scrutinizing look and he git up, brushing off his father's aged armor.

"I don't need anyone causing trouble in my camp," said Shang.

"Sorry," said Ping. "U-Uh, I mean, sorry you had to see that."

He tried making himself seem tougher than he really was, using every macho trick he could think of; giving him a shoulder punch, boasting his supposed fighting prowess, even hock a loogie with minimal success. Shang wasn't impressed.

"What's your name?"

"My what?"

"You commanding officer just asked you a question," said Chi-Fu.

"U-Uh, Ping. I'm Ping. Fa Ping."

"Let me see your conscription letter, 'Fa Ping'."

"'Fa Zhou.' The Fa Zhou?"

"I didn't know Fa Zhou had a son," said Chi-Fu.

Ping kept a remark to himself. Chi-Fu always was a pompous goose whenever he came to his family's village.

"My father is old and still carries wounds from his time in the army. I'm taking his place."

What next?
