Chapter 3 by AnthroLover AnthroLover

What's next?

What if... Razoul had taken Prince Ali's turban?

Has anyone ever considered it? What if Razoul had thought that he could take the turban of the "prince" before tossing him into the water?

Razoul was a dedicated worker, however, he was not above certain petty things.

Razoul had been talked into doing this for Jafar, as the vizier had confided to him how the recently arrived prince had ulterior motives to want to marry the princess. Jafar gave Razoul his word that the prince would be detrimental for the royal family and Agrabah as a whole.

Jafar was the vizier, the most loyal member of the entire palace. If he said that this foreign prince was a danger to the royal family, then Razoul had no reason to doubt it. Actually, Razoul had a bad feeling about that prince since he first saw him. There was just something about his face...

Once he had been give orders, Razoul had his men ready, and they all seized the prince as per Jafar's commands.

Upon knocking him out with a blow to the head, they took him far from the kingdom, in direction to the sea, where they would throw him to make sure he disappeared for good, as Jafar wanted.

However, Razoul would not do it before taking a little something for the hard work.

Being part of the royal guard could be a good job, but sometimes you needed a little something to complement your income.

The prince was gonna disappear anyway, so there was no reason why anything precious that he was carrying should go to waste by sinking with him into the ocean.

However, the prince proved to be devoid of riches, as there was no coins, jewelry or anything of valuable on his pockets. It was to be expect that someone who claimed to be so rich would at least carry a few rubies and sapphires.

That was when Razoul turned his attention to the turban. And to the big gemstone in it. That should be worth something.

So, Razoul took the covering from the head of the **** boy, taking notice on how unusually heavy it was. It was almost as if there was something inside of it...

Razoul looked at the boy, and couldn't help but notice.

Now that he was without the turban, the young man almost looked... familiar. Razoul was not sure but, maybe if he took off the gag...

No. It was not worth it. Jafar warned him that the boy would only spit lies to save himself was he allowed to talk. Razoul had no reason to hear lies.

So, he just went ahead with the plan. With the turban now safely on his hands, he just pushed the iron ball over the edge on the moment the boy opened his eyes.

The ball pulled the boy down, and Razoul looked at he fell in direction to the water, being able to catch just the moment when the boy looked up in terror before he hit home, sinking out of view with a splash.

Just like that, the job was done.

Razoul laughed to himself, turning around and congratulating his men for a job well done, before all of them returned to the palace, leaving behind no evidence of what had just transpired. Down in the water, bubbles came to the surface one after the other until the last of them popped, leaving behind nothing but stillness and silence...

Back at the palace...
