What do we have scheduled for today?

Each morning I print out a hardcopy of the day’s schedule to hand to my boss when she arrives. She should be in the building already, so I had better get it ready. It looks like a typical, light day for my boss.

She has a 10:30 board meeting in conference room A where she will be giving a presentation.

She has reservations for a 11:45 lunch meeting at Monastrell with a rep from AmorFik, our largest business partner, with whom she meets with once or twice a month. The restaurant has a great reputation and a high price. One of these days I want to eat dinner there, but it requires getting the reservation at least couple weeks in advance. Not to mention having money to burn.

Victoria also has a reminder on the calendar to make a birthday call to her mother. They have a strained relationship, at best. Some of the most heated phone arguments I’ve overheard were between them. Some of the things said were just sinister.

The rest of her day is wide open, which she uses as personal office time. Supposedly she will be behind her closed door working on, you know, strategizing verticals or corporate visioneering or some other BS. I am beyond caring anymore.

I should start my **** plot by gaslighting her a bit. Just to erode her smug confidence in a way that doesn't bring to much heat back to me. Messing with the lunch reservation could be fun, but I don't have time to make a phone call now.
