Think fast, dumbass!
What did she need? What did she want? What could I tell her to do?
"Oh, well, you're doing a good job then."
She bounced in place, which almost fatally distracted me. "Of course I am," she spun, into a cartwheel, then a backflip, only to land right in front of me again. If I had a gun, I might have tried something, but the cattle prod I had was just begging to get taken away.
I slowly pulled out the silent alarm. "So, you should push the silent alarm, to summon the guards," I hoped that counted as a command.
She laughed again. "You're alright Charlie, I'll only hurt ya a bit!" she said as she pushed the button.
"There's no need for that, surely if you just take us hostage, that will be enough of a dist--"
And then everything went black.
Yeah, Harley knocked me out. I woke up in medical. Joker had escaped. Harley was eventually beaten unconscious and seven guards were in medical. True to her word, I'd been hurt the least of all of them and could go home, with just a few meds and orders to get my head checked out every day before I started work.
I genuinely don't know if I was clever, or just distracted, but I'd drawn Doctor Young, and after she poked me with her freezing hands, I snapped that she could at least rub them together before poking me. Which she did. And I had to have her explain the meds at least twice, which she also did...
Then there was a debriefing with Francine, which wasn't fun, as she just chewed me out, even though I never had a chance against a meta. But I did get told about overtime (none available) and medical (use Arkham's facilities), before I could ask/command her to tell me. The trip home wasn't fun, but I was very fucking curious about what the app would show.
And any desire to share with the dickheads at Arkham had disappeared.
AN: So, just to be clear...yeah, Elias is not going to be overpowering supervillains (at least not physically without a LOT of help from the app).
