"W... what are you doing?!" Katie stammered, stumbling back as her stepmother moved forward at her. "Stay back!"

Angelica ignored her stepdaughter's command. Instead she grasped Katie's bare bicep and yanked her, swinging her around. Katie squealed as she was pushed against the kitchen counter.
