What about the barn?

You peer at the abandoned house doubtfully, then shake your head.

"Looks pretty creepy. I'd be scared some horror movie slasher would come jumping out of a closet," you laugh. Jack shrugs and grins, chuckling with you.

"Fair enough. How about checking out the barn? It looks like it might be mostly dry, and it would be good to get out of the car for a bit."

You consider the suggestion, looking at the dilapidated structure. It looks like the roof is mostly intact and it might be dry. It would be good to stretch your legs a little.
