What Now?

“Thanks again for giving me a lift. Not sure what I would have done.” Heather says she is smiling. She pauses to unbuckle her seat belt, then continues. “I do hope I can somehow repay your kind gesture.

"Oh, you don’t have to worry about that. I just wanted to help someone in need. Nothing more, nothing less.” You say.

“Still a gentleman. But I have a few ideas, but being that you seem to be content, why don’t I drop by your office sometime and we can chat some more? Maybe I can repay you then?” Heather grins, eyeing you up and down. You know she wanted you, and most of you wanted to see where it was going, but alas, your brain was still winning this fight. Still, you needed to play cool.

“I like that. I’m sure a visit would be quite entertaining. By the way, here is my number." You know, in case you get into any more trouble.” You say this as you give her your personal card.

"Oh, so if I get into trouble or if you want to get into some trouble? Either way, I’m down. See you soon.” Before Heather leaves, she reaches over and gives you a hug and a kiss on the cheek. You try to hide your excitement and play it cool as she leaves and disappears into the building. You breathe a sigh of relief. However, it's short-lived because you realize you should have been upstairs five minutes ago.
