What Does It Mean

"Whew!" Victoria exclaims out as the two get back to the main gravel road which leads back to the cabin "At least this time we didn't see any lions on our journey back!" she teases the boy "Last time they got us real good!"

"Yeah yeah yeah!" Zack replies "You're never going to let me live that down, eh?"

"Nope!" she doesn't even try to hide the fact. "And if you're lucky maybe I'll keep it to myself and not share all those juicy details with the girls."

With their hands in their front pockets of their hoodies the couple walk down that very same gravel road, making their way back towards the cabin to meet up with their friends again "So..." Zack eventually grumbles out as a hand reaches out and brushes his hair "About those details..."

"Whatcha mean?" Vicky's head flips to the side.

"I mean, I don't want to push this too fast but..." he cracks a smile "Like, that kiss, what does that mean for us?" the boy asks. He hopes it means Victoria feels the same way he's feeling and will want to try to develop something even stronger.

"Umm..." She grumbles out and thinks after hearing Zack ask her that. Zack was very sweet and caring and it appears she did seem to have a few feelings that started to show. This was also only the first day here at the cabin and during this trip she wanted to try to do things she normally wouldn't do. It's true, she never really falls for the sweet and caring guy that it appears Zack is but she also doesn't really want to lock herself down on the first day here at the cabin. She remembers Kurt's words, telling her to live a little and that was something she really was planning on doing. "Well, I mean..." Vicky pauses, trying to find the best words to say.

"Fuck!" Zack screams in his head. She doesn't feel the same way and she's trying to find the best way to let him down softly. "I fucking blew it, why did I have to be so pushy, why did I have to kiss her so soon!" he continues to beat himself up "I had two weeks with her here and I blew it in the first damn day."

"Let's see where it leads." she smiles at the boy, catching him a little off guard as that was not what he expected her to say "I...I liked the kiss, it was very sweet." she's turning a little more timid now from talking about what just happened "And I can see myself, well, wanting more from you Zack it's just, I don't know, it's the first day here and I don't know if I want to lock myself down into a relationship so soon?" she shrugs "You understand that, right?"

It's not really what Zack wanted to hear but it also wasn't the worst thing in the world. "Yeah, I guess." he grumbles out.

"Look!" Vicky's hand reaches out and grabs his own "I had fun and I really really really like hanging out with you Zack. You're awesome to be around and it's crazy I never saw that before!" she squeezes his hand "So let's just keep doing that and enjoy our time here at this amazing cabin and if something between us continues to develop, then sure, I'm willing to give it a shot."

Zack cracks a smile back at the blonde, not only did she say there was a chance the two could grow something deeper but he was also extremely ecstatic because the couple was now holding hands and Vicky was the one who initiated that. "Sounds good, Vicky." he replies not to leave her hanging "I just hope you don't get jealous when I start macking on the other girls." he teases the blonde.

"Ooooh! Big talker, eh?" Vicky laughs "Right back at ya buddy!"

Even though he wants Victoria all to himself he couldn't complain because he was happy with what has happened so far. They were having a great time together, they shared their first kiss and now they were holding hands as they made their way back to the cabin. Zack was riding high and even though Vicky didn't want to completely settle down right now, he could respect that and allow her the space to enjoy her stay at the cabin.
