What’s the point of knowing a language if you don’t use it?

“I-isn’t that it, Mistress?” you stammered. “I m-mean, you already gave me espanish, and…“ You trailed off. Your voice sounded different, somehow, but you couldn’t quite place what was wrong. “Mistress, what you doing…?” What you just said didn’t feel right, but you couldn’t remember what the proper grammar should be. “Why you still type?? You no finish?” you asked her, and your eyes widened in shock.

Your voice was heavily accented, and you spoke in broken English. If you hadn’t known you were the one talking, you would have thought somebody else was in the room. “What the fuck?? ¿Qué haces??” You covered your mouth in horror. You had definitely not meant to speak Spanish just then. What the fuck was happening? Then, out of the corner of your eye, you noticed something else. Your hands…were they more tan than usual? You held them up, in awe. They seemed to be darkening before your eyes, shifting from pasty white to a smooth caramel. You saw to your left that there was a mirror in this room as well, an ornate thing gilded in gold, and you turned to see your reflection. The girl you saw was like nothing you could have expected. Your eyes were much larger, your lips fuller. Your cheekbones had shifted, and your nose was changing shape as you watched, widening slightly. Your breasts firmed up, the areolas darkening from pink to brown.

You thought back to what language Joanna had chosen and your heart started beating faster. You knew what was happening. You were becoming Mexican. “Qué carajo did you do to me you puta!” you shouted. You looked around frantically, panicking. “¿Por qué I espeaking espanish??” _Why am I speaking Spanish? _you thought. _Joanna gave me the ability to speak Spanish, that shouldn’t have removed my ability to speak English, right? Unless… _You thought back over the past several minutes. You woke up in Joanna’s cama… Wait. Why couldn’t you remember the word in English? You racked your brain, but it was gone. In fact, now that you came to think of it, there were lots and lots of holes in your knowledge of the English language. The horrifying realisation finally struck you: Joanna had undeniably, unequivocally, began to steal away your ability to understand English. Joanna eyed you hungrily from across the room, enjoying your realisation while drinking in your latin beauty.

“My, my! You turned out muy caliente, huh? You know, I’m really starting to enjoy this device. The possibilities are endless!”You understood the first half, but to you the rest of what Joanna had said was gibberish. “¿Qué?” you asked softly, bewildered. This was all too much. Just 24 hours ago you had been a boy!
