West: The Farms and The Town

The road west is quiet and secure. After a few hours, you notice the fields of golden wheat and orchards with fruit.
You map points in 2 directions, one is southwest, somewhere in the farms, and the other one is inside the town.

Up ahead, there is a wagon along the dirt path, pulled by two draft horses. You observe two guards wielding swords, armor, and crossbows. They are pulling the wagon to repair a wheel after an orc attack.

You approach them. They are busy with the tools, replacing one of the wheels and removing some arrows from the wagon.

You can ask for directions, to reach the town or the farms easily and avoid any unwanted orc patrols.
Or you can just say hi, and take advantage of the distraction of the wagon to obtain some useful items in their sacks.
