Chapter 54 by Yelawolf Yelawolf

You...

Went to Mrs. Love class

The slender milf athletic build of the blonde Mrs. Love hit your eyes as you enter into her classroom. She look at all of her incoming students with a big smile. Her blue eyes seem to pop out with her white yoga pants that show off her tight ass.

You sit with your girls next to you. Gina glares at you as she looks at Kimmy. She's jealous that Kimmy gets to be next to you. But you don't care about her. Not yet.

Mrs. Love speaks in a friendly but firm tone. "Welcome back, heroes. Today, we're going to discuss the importance of teamwork and synergy in a hero team dynamic." She gestures to a large screen behind her, which flickers to life with a diagram of various hero team formations. "No hero, no matter how powerful, is an island. The ability to trust, to anticipate, and to complement your teammates' abilities is what separates a good hero from a great one."

She started the class by grouping you into teams of four. As she started calling out names, you felt a familiar prickle of anticipation. You knew this was coming. A test. Not just of your power, but of your leadership.

"Team one, Gina, Riley, Guggi, and Malcolm."

Gina shot you another venomous look before stomping over to her assigned corner of the gymnasium-like classroom, Riley scurrying behind her.

Mrs. Love continued, her eyes twinkling as they found you. "Team two... we have John, Violet, Kimmy, and..."

She paused, letting the silence hang in the air. You saw her gaze sweep across the room, her lips pursed in thought. Then, a smile touched her lips. "And Tre."

A low murmur went through the class. This was it.

Tre didn't smirk. He didn't gloat. He simply gave a curt, professional nod and started walking towards your group, his movements economical and powerful. Violet tensed beside you, her hands clenching into fists. Kimmy looked like she was about to be sick.

You remained impassive, your legs crossed, your posture relaxed. You watched him approach, your mind already racing, calculating angles, scenarios, and outcomes. This wasn't Ms. White's move. This was Mrs. Love's. The friendly, athletic milf was playing a much deeper game than anyone gave her credit for.

Tre stopped in front of your group. He looked at Violet, then at Kimmy, before finally settling his gaze on you. There was no animosity in his eyes, only a cool, competitive fire.

"John," he said, his voice a low rumble.

"Tre," you replied, matching his tone.

Mrs. Love clapped her hands together, drawing everyone's attention. "Alright, teams! Your exercise is a simple one. Defend this objective," she said, pointing to a glowing orb on a pedestal in the center of the room, "from the other team for ten minutes. You have the full use of your powers and this training facility's environment. No permanent injuries, but otherwise... anything goes. The team that successfully defends the objective, or the team that captures it, gets bonus points and bragging rights for the rest of the semester."

She smiled, a genuine, almost girlish expression that was at odds with the high-stakes game she had just set in motion. "Ready? Go!"

The buzzer sounded, shrill and loud. Gina's team moved immediately. Guggi, the bruiser, charged forward, a human battering ram. Riley started humming, her singing powers getting charged. Gina hung back, her eyes scanning, looking for an angle.

You didn't move. Neither did Tre.

"They're coming in fast," Violet stated, her voice tight, her body coiled like a spring.

"I know," you said calmly.

Kimmy whimpered, "What do we do?"

You held up a hand, silencing them. Your gaze was fixed on Tre. He was watching the other team, his expression analytical, not reactive. He was waiting. Just like you.

The first wave hit. Guggi's powerful fists slammed into Tre who immediately lifted up an object to block with. You hadn't even seen him move. He was getting faster.

"Nice," you murmured, a grudging respect in your tone.

Riley unleashed her sing attack, a wave of pure **** that slammed into the table Trd held, making it flicker and warp. Tre grunted, the strain showing on his face, but the table shield held.

"Kimmy," you said, your voice calm and steady. "Go left. Stay low. Use the pillars for cover. Distract Riley. Don't engage, just make her keep her head down."

Kimmy's eyes widened, but she nodded, a flicker of resolve in her expression. She moved, a small, nimble shadow darting into the chaos.

"Violet," you continued. "Gina. She's the weak link. Overconfident. She'll try to flank us. Take her out. Non-lethal. Make it embarrassing."

You knew Violet was powerful. Almost on the same level as Tre in the strong man category. Gina shapeshifter ability could make this challenging. You have faith in your queen.

A slow, vicious smile spread across Violet's face. "With pleasure," she purred. She moved with a fluid grace, disappearing into a haze of shadows.

That left you and Tre. And the glowing orb.

Guggi and Riley were still focused on Tre, who was holding the line with surprising resilience. But you knew he couldn't last forever against both of them.

You walked out from behind your cover, not with a charge, but with a deliberate, unhurried stride. "They're trying to divide and conquer, Tre," you said, your voice carrying over the din of the fight. "Split us up. Overwhelm the weaker links."
