Jant made her way quickly and carefully. She didn’t want a repeat of her first night in the forest. When she thought she was far enough away she slowed back down to a walk.

She continued forward only to feel something following her. “Damn orc did follow me.” She growled starting her run again. Only this time she felt her legs get swept out from under her.

She fell hitting the ground hard. Knowing she was in danger she brushed off the pain and stood as fast as she could. Too late though as her attackers, three goblins had already got her front legs lassoed. She attempted to trample one of them and bash another.

She ran over one of them but she lost her balance and broke her branch falling again. The goblins took this time to secure her with their ropes. They succeeded and began to cheer.

Their distraction gave Jant enough time to get one of the ropes off her legs. But when she looked up to stand and run she was met with two goblins clubs in Hand. She was their prey and she wasn’t going to get away.

The goblins swing their clubs before she could defend. One catches her in the stomach winding her. The second hits her in the back of the head. She sees stars for a split second before her world turns dark.
