Well it's too late to run away now, lets go up...

Jessie figured that it was too late to run away now, she had seen too much and the locked doors meant that she wouldn’t get very far if she tried before she was caught and lord knows what these people would do to her. Jessie just hoped everything was consensual like Maddie said. Jessie got on the elevator and Maddie hit the button for the 4th floor and held her watch to a panel. At the fourth floor, the elevator stopped and both women got out. Maddie led Jessie down a hall pointing stuff out as they went.

“That’s the on-call apartment, you can hang out there if you are working the weekend or overnight shifts, that’s the kitchen for human food, don’t confuse it with dog or puppy food,” Maddie said.

“Dog or puppy?” Jessie asked.

“Human puppies are kept on a special diet so they feel like they are being fed dog food, but they can’t actually eat dog food from a grocery store,” Maddie said, “Mom made that mistake with dad and had a heck of a time explaining it to the doctor.”

“Your mom and dad?” Jessie stopped.

“Yep, my mom started this place, Linda is running it till I am older and more experienced, right now I am focusing on the office side of things and training Goofy,” Maddie smiled.

Jessie was about to ask who ‘Goofy’ was when two women in matching black leather jeans, black leather combat boots, and black staff tee-shirts came out of a side room and greeted them.

“Well hello Maddie,” the brown haired woman kissed Maddie on the cheek.

“Hay Mads,” the blonde French kissed Maddie.

“Erin, Louis, this is Jessie, the new girl,” Maddie introduced the women.

“Louis,” the Blonde held out her hand for Jessie, “I think you will find here that you might not have been as straight as you thought. Most of use now proudly wear the Bi-Pride flags.”

“I had some questions myself after a boyfriend in junior year of high school,” Jessie smiled.

“I am sure I’ll hear about it later, we have to get a load of food for the pups this weekend,” Erin smiled, “Nice to meet you, we will continue this later.”

“Sure,” Jessie smiled.

Maddie led Jessie the rest of the way to an office with “Dictatrix” painted on the frosted glass window of the door. Jessie was unsure but Maddie just opened the door and ushered Jessie inside.
