Futaba told Sumire to get comfy, saying the body needed to be relaxed in order to better relax the mind.

"Um, you sure know a lot about this stuff," said Sumire.

"I told you," Futaba replied. "I did research."

She swung the coin in front of Sumire's face. "Watch the coin, Sumire, watch it and sink deeply under its power. Watch it and feel your eyelids growing heavy..."

It didn't take too long before Futaba was rambling again. Sumire's eyes were glued to the swinging coin, watching it swing back and forth.

"Um, I don't know if it's working," said Sumire.

"Then keep watching," said Futaba.

Sumire stiffened her body to keep a close eye on the coin as it kept swinging.
