Well, that was the idea anyway.

"Fuck! That sensitive loser!"

The word wakes you up, but you don't take any moves to get up from the bed, since you remember where you are as soon as your eyes open and see the pretty face in front of you. You're snuggling with Nora, and you're safe here. Nora's eyes slowly open as well, and once she gets her bearings, her magical sparkling eyes look deeply back into your eyes, and a small smile finds its way to her face.

Her hand comes up and boops you on the nose, and she can't help but giggle at your confused and 'should I be annoyed by that?' reaction.

"You did great." She whispers to you softly. "Where did you learn all of that? That was total bliss...."

Her compliments make you beam proudly. Yeah, you were pretty great, weren't you?

"I've never given up control like that, much less had it taken...."

She cuts herself short at the noise of jiggling keys being fumbled into the dorm room door. Nora's eyes go wide, and she quickly scrambles up to her feet and looks at a clock on the wall.

"Who is it?" She asks, turning to the door.

You're still looking at the clock, analogue ones are really hard. Even though it makes sense that a classy woman like Nora would use one, you still have some trouble with them.... uhhhh. oh, it's- it's 8:50. No, wait, 7:50. The small hand is just close to the eight because that's what happens. It's also dark out the window, so that probably means it's 7:50pm, which the clock would not tell you even though a digital one would.

"It's me." An irritated voice responds. "Why'd you lock the door? Just let me in, I can't find the right key."

Nora's eye twitches. She turns to you and whispers.

"It's Lola. Basically the whole floor's given her copies of their keys in case she wants to 'visit'. You need to hide, I'll try sneak you out." She explains.

You nod, and scramble to hide under Nora's bed. Nora turns back to the door.

"Yeah, sure. I thought you weren't coming back tonight. Something go wrong?"

"Just let me in, slut."

Nora's eye twitches again, but she looks over to you, and lets out a deep sigh that seems to exhale all of her irritation with it. Oh, that's a good sign, it looks like your cuddles really did help her!

When you're safely in position under the bed, Nora moves to unlock the door, and Lola pushes through.

"What took you so long?" She barks, stomping over to her bed and throwing something onto it before collapsing backwards onto it and sighing in frustration.

"I was just-"

"I wasn't really asking." Lola cuts Nora off. "I'm gonna go to sleep."

Lola covers her eyes with her hands, and goes quiet. Nora pauses, looking like she wants to say something, but instead relents and turns her head to look at you. She's still holding the door open. Nora tilts her head, and you take her cue to quickly and quietly move out from under the bed and go out through the door.

"Gonna shower." Nora says, stepping out into the hallway behind you and closing the door before Lola can give a response (assuming she was going to, anyway).

Nora gives you a bright smile , that seems to be totally unburdened by her roommate's ****. "You're fantastic, Debbie. Sorry it got cut short -- we'll need to do it again some time."

You nod, and give a smile back once you realise that everything seems to be okay after all.

"You should probably head back to your room, now -- I'll see you around the Arena, alright?"

"Alright!" You respond. With that, the two of you wave goodbye and each head off in your own directions. Well, that ending wasn't perfect, but- hey, no, actually, wait! That was a really good ending! You got to see firsthand that you really did help Nora feel better, that's great! It looks like your hugs are good enough to last for more than just the one night after all.

Feeling very good about yourself, you skip the rest of your way to your room, feeling a bit bad you didn't get to sleep until the morning with Nora, but feeling very very glad that you seem to have really made a difference.
