"I'm impressed!" Kaylee muttered while she looked at the hydroponic lettuce. "I was worried we would be stuck eating canned fruits and vegetables."

"Well, all of this is part of the project! We have to see how viable it is to grow our own food with a limited amount of sunlight," Eva explained, pointing up at the special overhead ceiling lights that were connected to light tubes with reflective material and fiber optics that allowed sunlight from outside to be fed in underground, "and recycled water."

"Did you see yourself as an underground farmer before when you signed up?" Kaylee wondered as she looked at the hydroponic tomatoes.

"No, I was assuming I was going to do mostly lab work but hey I can't complain about having an entire floor mostly to myself."

"I thought Ming Yue comes down here?"

"Sometimes but the day-to-day oversight of the farm falls onto me," Eva shrugged.

"So we're here alone for the foreseeable future?" Kaylee smirked.

"Yes, why do..." Eva began but was interrupted with a fierce kiss, only to break it when she pushed Kaylee back. "We're still working..."

"We can take a break..." Kaylee grinned as she walked over to the Japanese eggplants. "Since I don't have access to my dildos or Jon's dick right now..."

"Kaylee! That's for eating!" Eva gasped when the young chef examined one of the long, thin purple eggplants.

"I'm kidding!" Kaylee laughed. "I'll use these for mapo eggplant when they're ripe."

Eva shook her head and turned away to go back examining the plants but in reality she wanted to hide her blush from Kaylee. She may have voiced her opposition of using the eggplants for dildos but part of her was tempted at the idea. Unlike Kaylee and Allison, she did not bring a dildo or a vibrator with her. For a moment she wondered if she could get one of the engineers to fabricate a vibrator for her and the rest of the girls but then her mind wandered to thinking about Jonathan being the only man among the crew of fifteen women. It was obvious to her and a few of the other women that, despite the professionalism they had all swore to uphold, there was a very good chance he would have sex with at least one of them. She glanced over at Kaylee, who was examine the lettuce, and wondered what were her odds with Jonathan.
