Welcome home Jean.

Ashley sighed with frustration as she got back into her car. Liz has not been there. Derrick was confused when she told him that if Liz shows up to not let her in. No, she couldn't tell him why. Derrick wanted Ashley to come in and "chill" and he was annoyed when Ashley declined. Ashley's cell phone was charging in the car and it beeped with a message from Jenns.

"Hey Ash. I'm ok. Haven't seen Liz. Haven't heard anything weird. I really hope she shows up. I'm getting worried."

Ashley reread the text message three times. Was that vision that Ashley saw with Liz a lie? A premonition? She didn't know. She replied back to Jenna to call her if she sees Liz and tried to explain as vaguely as possible to not let her in the house if she comes by..

Jenna puts down her cell phone.

"Hey Mom, Ashley just texted me and said to not to let Liz in the house..."

Jenna laughs.

"Well....it's a little too late for that" Karen Wilson replies as she clamps her mouth down on the neck of her neighbor Mr. johnson.

"Don't drain him dry Mom, I want to fuck him too." Jenna 's long fangs extend as she goes over to her Mom and neighbor.

Ashley pulled in her driveway and had a smoke while checking social media one last time before going to bed. She figured with her Mom not minding that if she smoked she might as well start buying her own packs. If anyone gave her grief about smoking she could always tell them that she's stressed that her twin sister is an evil vampire with telepathic powers. She had no idea how she was going to explain to her--

SHIT!

"Mom!" Ashley said out loud as she throws the cigarette butt out the window and ran inside the house. Ashley carefully opened the door and tried not to make any noise. She walked to her Mom's room and she saw her Mom laying in bed asleep. Ashley decided not to wake her cause she knew that her Mom has barely slept lately and she would try to explain things to her Mom in the morning. Ashley got in her own bed and fell into restless sleep filled with nightmares.

Jean had found an earlier flight and jumped on it. The airport was about a 40 minute drive to her hometown. It was weird taking a commercial flight after all of the time she's been in the Blackbird private jet that her team had but it felt kinda nice to do things as normal people do. She grabbed a newspaper and a coffee while waiting for her luggage to come in. The headline of the paper was something about animal attacks in the area and warned people to stay inside. She wondered if it was something that the X-M ---"Stop. I'm here to find my niece and hopefully relax with my family. I need this time away from the team." she told herself. Jean's long term on again, off again relationship with her boyfriend was off. This time for good.

Jean grabbed her rental car and was on her way to her sister's house. As she was stopped at a red light, a mental scream pierced her skull. She reached out with her mind and she felt a woman being attacked. Jean pulled the car over and got out. She tried to reach out with her mind to somehow mentally blast the attacker's mind so he would stop but she was having trouble finding him. After walking around she heard some moans coming from a dark alley. Jean saw a man on top of a woman, thrusting in and out of her.

"HEY! STOP!"

The guy turned around Jean was shocked to see blood all over his face. Jean's suspicions were correct as he snarled showing his extended canine fangs. Jean knew that vampires were real but she never met one before. Her friends battled Dracula while she was away and her close friend Ororo was briefly a vampire as well. She recalls Ororo telling her the story...

"It was intoxicating Jean. Sometimes, I almost miss it. No more restricting myself. On using my powers and......other things. When Dracula made love to me and gave me some of his power, I've never felt so free......"

Jean's focus is knocked back to the present when the vampire gets off the girl and starts to walk towards Jean. She sees puncture marks and blood all over the girl. Jean reaches out with her telekinesis to detain the vampire and is stunned to find out that she couldn't get a hold of him. The TK field she tried to project slipped right off of him like oil and water.

"Damnit!"

As the vampire gets closer to Jean she takes a few steps back. Jean was told what weaknesses vampires had and what could destroy them and a plan came to her. There was a broken wooden stool in the alley and seemingly faster than a bullet from a gun, one of the legs from the stool flew and impaled itself in the vampire's heart with a loud THUNK! Before the vampire could scream in pain the body started to disintegrate into ashes.

Jean ran over to the woman and saw her eyes was open and she was moving around.

"You're going to be ok. I'll call an ambulance."

The woman rolled to her side and started to get up and Jean helped lift her up.

"Thank you.....the....pepper spray....didn't work on him. I really....have to thank you...for saving me."

The woman pulls Jean in for a hug then she tried to kiss Jean, which caused Jean to panic and pushed the woman off of her.

"Let me kiss you. You will love it...... I loved it." The woman's eyes started to glow and she smiled to show off her new fangs.

Jean turned around to see if she could find the wooden stool or another piece of wood. When she turned back around the newly born vampire was gone.

With her pulse racing, Jean got back in her car and drove to her sister's house.
