Weiss x Kali (Sold to the White Fang)

After Ilia dropped her scroll the night of her rooftop battle with Blake and Sun, Kali had contacted former radicals of the White Fang to access her phone. Kali whisked through Ilia's contacts and group chats on a daily basis to gather intel on the White Fang's activities. Branches of the White Fang had prepared communication relays to maintain contact across the kingdoms after the planned attack on Beacon's CCTS tower.

One day, months after the scuffle, two shocking announcements were made.

First, the White Fang high leader Sienna Khan was dead.

Second, Weiss Shnee will be traded to the White Fang by the Branwen tribe who captured her in North Mistral.

Adam Taurus was declared the new high leader of the White Fang. His coronation would be concluded by broadcasting the execution of the Shnee heiress.

Kali's heart sank- she informed Ghira, Blake and Sun as soon as she could. Kali asked what they should do about it. Blake replied that they already know what to do. They have to save Weiss and take back the White Fang from the radicals who perverted their message of opposing discrimination. Ghira pleaded with Blake to exercise caution. Adam was a formidable opponent that they could not expect to defeat by just showing at the coronation guns blazing. Sun suggested that if it is too dangerous to confront Adam directly, they should prevent Weiss being traded to the White Fang in the first place.

Sat around a table, they all contemplated how they would intercept Weiss being traded. Kali was the one to provide the answer they needed. Why don't they pose as the White Fang operatives? They had Ilia's phone, meaning they could pose as her to establish contact with the Branwen tribe and rescue Weiss before Adam's branch of the White Fang got to her.

Blake, Sun and Ghira agreed. They quickly mobilised along with some of the bodyguards at Kali's home to take an airship to North Mistral and find Weiss. It was not easy prying the right information out of the White Fang to figure out who was their point of contact in the Branwen tribe, nor the location of the Branwen camp. But eventually, they discovered the name of their contact was Raven.

They flew to North Mistral after telling their contact that the White Fang would be arriving one day early to collect Weiss. Raven was not bothered as long as she got the dust they promised. They agreed to meet inside the Branwen camp to trade Weiss. Kali had no intention of actually trading Weiss for dust. Her goal was to investigate the coordinates given by Raven to rescue Weiss under the veil of night.

Her team successfully infiltrated the Branwen camp. From the shadows they struck the night guards **** with expert precision. Sun located the cage Weiss was held in but his tail was spotted by Vernal poking out from behind a tent. Vernal rushed to alert the entire tribe by blowing a horn. The team had to break from cover.

Sun charged at Vernal and clashed with her. Meanwhile Ghira, Kali and Blake made a break for the cage. Weiss was asleep and weak after days being kept prisoner. Blake slashed the lock off the cage. She then shook Weiss awake. Blake explained they did not have time to talk then told Ghira to take Weiss. Ghira threw Weiss over his shoulders and bolted towards an exit from the Branwen camp.

There were few guards still conscious to answer Vernal's horn but soon the Branwen tents dispersed warriors into the camp to prevent the intruders from escaping. Sun managed to fend off Vernal, trailing behind Kali, Ghira and Blake towards an exit. Kali and Blake had to clash several tribesmen on their ways out to defend Ghira but they all managed to escape the camp.

The most difficult part of the rescue mission was the final stretch. Torches and gunfire followed Kali's team through the darkness of night. Everyone was exhausted as the Branwen tribesmen chased them. If any stray bullet or tree branch were to trip them, they would likely end up dead.

The airship soon came into view of the team but they had to board and take off before the Branwen tribe could get close.

"Prepare to jet!" Kali screamed at her bodyguards inside the ship repeatedly.

Some guards fired at the Branwen tribesmen trailing behind the team to buy time. They were mostly firing at whoever they saw holding a torch (with the benefit of night vision). Blake is first on board, followed by Kali who whisks Ghira and Sun to hurry up. The hanger door closed and the engine powered up to prepare for take off. Kali and co narrowly escaped the Branwen tribe's clutches. Raven, being a heavy sleeper, snored through most of the action until Vernal woke her up.

Weiss is visibly shaken by the whole ordeal. Weiss glances around the ship in need of someone to comfort her. Blake is far too tired to even say hello- she sits on the floor on the airship wheezing for air. Ghira and Sun are much the same.

But Kali takes pity on Weiss, sitting alone quacking in her shoes. Kali sits next to Weiss and wraps with a warm hug. Despite being covered in sweat, Weiss clings to her tightly. She breaks down crying into Kali's bosom. Whether these are tears of joy or heaps of pain that Weiss is beginning to process Kali cannot be sure of. What Kali knows does know is that she will have to shower Weiss in love regardless. Her ordeal is finally over.
