Week 3 Susan's Date: Early Morning.
Tracy woke to the gentle sway of being carried, which brought back pleasant memories of early childhood. Not that her mom could do much of that before Stacy insisted that she too get uppies, loudly, but that was life with a twin sister.
She opened her eyes to look up into the green eyes and smiling face of her orange-haired robot companion. "Salutations!"
"Morning, Penny. So operation Dawn Extraction was a success?"
Penny giggled. She liked her new bestest friend's games. "Everyone was sound asleep, even you! No one noticed our exit at all."
"Cool, cool." They didn't really NEED to sneak out of the orgy room. Avoiding questions was more of a habit at this point. "What about operation Rise and Shine?"
"I was able to leave the orgy room with no problem once everyone else was unconscious." Tracy nodded. She figured as long as one of them was in 'bed,' then that counted for curfew, possibly mostly just her even if Penny counted as her for most things. "And there was no problem extracting a coffee machine from the dining hall to set up in the craft hall." That was the important part of Penny's mission, testing boundaries was just the sugar on top. Of course they could have just gone past the dining hall to grab coffee on the go, but seeing if the servants would leave a machine elsewhere if they put one somewhere was another good test, and it wasn't like these weird futuristic coffee brewers even needed a plug. So if this worked, she could put one in the bedroom even.
Testing boundaries was second nature to Tracy at this point. She leaned back in the robotic woman's strong arms and kicked her legs while her tail curled around Penny's waist, not even remotely bothered that she was still stark naked. "Did you check on the printers?"
Smiling and nodding at the bag looped over one shoulder, Penny continued. "I did, and grabbed everything you asked for from your room as well."
"Good. Shar said we're getting company today, so I should probably get dressed at some point." Who could be coming over? Shar said they were going on to the wedding with them when they left, so it was someone on the list. Not that she'd seen any such lists officially, but she'd bet it was someone that was at the birthday party. Their giant host had seemed quite excited at the prospect too, so someone she really wanted to see. And at least two, since she said guests. "Ooooo! Maybe it's Dani and Carly! Shar talks a lot about them. I really should watch that season someday, but there are sooooo many episodes. It would take forever to catch up." And that Nick guy had seemed like such a wet blanket.
Penny pushed open the door into the craft hall, and started in as the lights popped on in series, gradually lighting the huge room. Not that she needed the lights to see. The smell of fresh coffee filled the air as they got closer to the workstations Tracy had co-opted. "I believe operation Rise and Shine is a go."
The teal-haired cat girl was roused from her musings on guests by Penny's words and the heavenly smell. She zipped out of the arms holding her and across to the machine at lightning speed, briefly blurring to Penny's vision. "Coffee!!!" As her companion doctored a huge mug of the black liquid, Penny began sorting the new printings she'd started in the night with what they'd set up together earlier. She couldn't wait to see what Tracy would do with it all.
After guzzling a full mug of the elixir of the gods, Tracy poured herself another cup to drink at a more normal human pace and walked over to look at the partially disassembled android. An oddly grizzly sight with one so humanoid. She compared the old limbs with the new parts. Shar's machines were some next-level shit, fabricating Destroyer's parts had taken way more time and effort. "These look perfect, now the real question. Which set do we use?"
"What's the difference?" Penny could tell them apart, of course, but didn't know what they were for.
Tracy slurped while waggling her eyebrows at the orange-haired woman, still completely naked. "I had two thoughts here, and with all these printers I figured why not be prepared for both? My first thought was to remodel the android on my old roommate Jessica. I figured if she had an analog here already, there was less chance she'd get snatched for the show for real." Penny nodded along. "Only problem there is it might give people the idea of merging the two, and then not only is she still on the show, but back to being turned into a robot again."
Penny didn't see what was wrong with being a robot, but if Tracy didn't want that for her fleshy friend, that was enough for her. "And the shorter limbs?"
"My other thought was having her match me and Stacy, like triplets. Only a fox. With her alabaster skin she'd make a bitch'en snow fox."
"But still with red hair?" Tracy nodded, the more redheads in the harem, the better, as far as she was concerned. "But why have her look like you?"
"So she'd be perfect." The cat girl deadpanned, then broke up laughing when Penny didn't get the joke. The more Tracy thought about it, the more she decided a Jessica bot would be too creepy anyways. Fox bot it was.
The duo soon had the shorter limbs assembled and tested to the engineer's approval. Tracy decided to take a break and popped open her laptop. She whistled when the scores lit up her screen. "Damn, that orgy was worth a good chunk of points. We're getting super close to four hundred. That's a new boon transformation. I wonder if we get to pick it."
"They've all been voted on so far though?" Penny had only seen a few of these transformations, and none of the votes themselves, but Tracy had filled her in on them.
The engineer nodded. "Yeah, even Susan's replacement TF got voted on, so you're probably right. But getting to write your own transformation would be badass. You could get away with some serious OP shit there. Like that broken one the other fox made." Penny nodded, she'd watched that season with Tracy. Mark had given her the android they were now working on.
Thinking about Cassandra's season reminded Tracy that Shar had been telling her to watch another one, that her friend Sera ran. "Oh shit. Shar's been telling me I needed to watch Sera's season, but there was too much shit going on yesterday. What if it's because the guests are coming from there?" It definitely wasn't Sally's season. The challenge prep had been taking forever, and no way Sally was having the wedding interrupt that. She had told Tracy to make free use of her bakery for the event though...
"I do not know that one."
"Some bed and breakfast thing with a garden theme, I think." It was too bad she couldn't get Shar to download the information into her head like she'd done for Arabella's. She'd be too busy setting up and bringing the guests over. She'd need to speed run this somehow on her own before they got here. Wait... Speed run. "Penny, I have a crazy idea."
.
A short time later, Tracy was sitting with her laptop on a table in front of her, the Lily Garden logo on her screen. "Okay, here goes. If something goes sideways, try to snap me out of it." Penny gave her a thumbs up, and then seemed to slow down as Tracy activated her speed boost. Tapping her finger, she started the video playing in fast forward. Then tapped it faster a couple of times. Doing anything at this speed cost her a lot, but how strenuous was just watching something? She focused her breathing as the introductions blurred past faster than anyone else could see. She could see why Shar liked Erica so much, but obviously Diona was best girl by a mile.
Erica's date was great. Cecilia's date did a lot to mitigate her early impression. Their professor was just as shy and bookish as Gabriella, but her magic had a lot of potential. And Sera had cows. She was shocked Shar hadn't tried to steal them, they must be really good friends indeed. Diona's date blurred past, and Tracy threw her hands up in a shout that nearly caused her to black out. She tried to calm down at the cherry-flavored girl's unfair treatment. The fact that she didn't seem to mind helped. Mal and Nat's date were great, and then suddenly Shar was there, at the Garden. Holy Shit.
Tracy's screen went black, and she reeled as her boost faded. That was the longest she'd held it yet, and all she'd done was sit still and watch Sera's first week's highlights, but she was worn out. "That was better than Cumopoly. Why the fuck didn't we get to play Cluedo?"
Penny supported Tracy with one hand while offering her a bottle of water with a shrug. She didn't know anything about either game, but it had been most interesting watching the teal-haired cat girl twitch at high speed while her screen blurred. "So it worked then?"
After chugging water like it was going out of style, Tracy limply nodded. "Yeah, but I wouldn't try this for more than a week's worth of footage. I'm burnt the fuck out. Still, Sera's season is great. All girls like Shar and Aurora's too." She slowly rolled her neck, the effort of holding it still under acceleration burning into the muscles.
Her companion started massaging the teal-haired woman's neck, and Tracy groaned as she leaned back into the robot's crushingly strong hands. "Who do you think is coming over?"
"Oh yeah, that's the stuff. Obviously their master is coming, I can't imagine her not going to the wedding if others are. Cecilia's dressed for a wedding." Tracy snickered at that thought. "But I'm not sure who she'd bring. Erica makes most sense with Shar being excited to see her, but she seems to like the whole cast." She drank more water, feeling better already thanks to Penny's hands. "I think she really wants me to meet Diona though."
"Why's that?"
"Apparently she's my daughter."
.
Tracy wasn't the only one who had watched Sera's footage in The Castle. Evelyn sat at her desk, feeling complicated emotions swell in her chest. "Mom?" She asked the empty room.
