Week 2 Show-Runner Notes

26 June

Sooo, starting a new page for a new Week's notes. 4 mainline chapters, 1 side thing, and some store updates. This week, Mona wears merch, Tina opens a store, and Daphne gets some long anticipated mail! The side thing is some invitations. Finally, some Tina store items in the audience shop. Maybe people will start buying audience store items earlier in the week?

Next batch of chapters out. The expected dice roll thing (in case you wondered why Craig made last week's bone-headed decision) in addition to the expected 4 chapters of content. This week, Mona eats some lizard, Mineko learns to read, and I get to never have to write awkward sentences to avoid gendered language with Winter ever again! Huzzah!

Daytime of Day 9 is now out. 4 mainline chapters, with a couple of side things. This week, Mona has a mild breakdown, Winter cooks breakfast, and Jenny saves some weeds. Two side things. The first is some more wedding related invitations; this time there is a bit of actual story stuff with it, so, while I didn't stick those scenes in the mainline, I did add the linkback chapter thing to make it easier to flow. The second is a little "side quest" experiment for the audience based on a request. We'll see how said experiment goes.

17 July

Gaia date stuff coming out shortly. The usual 4 mainline chapters, with a couple of side things. This week, Mona rides a bunch of things, Tessa nearly drowns, and I had to roll a death saving throw for I think the first time in 300ish chapters. Usual dice rolls, plus decklists, for the side things.

The particular side quest experiment didn't work out great, but I think the next one is a lot easier to complete (tune in next week). Also, the dumb poll closing 5 hours earlier than I expected was a bit of a surprise. I'll probably have some more low-stakes tests as I go. I'll hopefully figure out whether I will use the in-site polling system by the end of the Round.

24 July

Next daytime batch coming out in a bit. The usual 4 mainline chapters, plus a couple of side things. This week, Mona plays with bunnies, Tegan ruins her T-shirt, and Craig suffers. The side things is a decklist (hey, I don't have a game planned for the evening as Andromeda is going to actually socialize with the harem!) and the new side quest. I hope this one works better. It is certainly much, much easier.

31 July

Ooops. I hit the publish button on the first chapter a bit early. Oh well. Could have been worse.

Ootah date time will finish coming out in a bit. Usual 4 mainline chapters, plus the dice roll thing. This week, Mona shreds a dolphin, Mineko discovers Jacuzzis, and Tessa discovers that ratfinks are awful.

The side quest worked out better this time around. I got more than one participant, some basic in the comments section, some advanced in the DMs. Mona is going to have some choices to consider. Results next week.

Ugggggh, work was soooooo long today, so I am behind...

Next push coming out soonish. Usual 4 mainline chapters. This week, Mona wears a shark hat, Andromeda doesn't know what MTV is, and Tegan gets itchy. No side things (dice saved for the evening publications).

14 August

Next push coming out in a bit. FIVE mainline chapters this time (the delve ran long?). This week, Mona shows off swings, so many Shar references, and I get to work through some hollandaise-based cooking trauma. The expected dice side thing and another (maybe unexpected) side quest.

In crossover land, wedding scene plans are picking back up. I am not sure when the wedding is going to interrupt the flow here, but look forward to that. Also in crossover land, another review for the old season is forthcoming. Daphne hopes her smut review friends like the more Daphne filled second week!

21 August

Giving it a little bit, but next push is going to happen relatively quickly. Back to four mainline chapters and a side thing. This week, Mona goes ring shopping, Tegan makes a new "friend," and Daphne plays hooky.

In crossover land, looks like I'll get to wrap up Day 12, then the wedding shall be upon us. And, in a couple of days, another review for the old season happens in Marcie and Gina land. That'll be fun. They're stuck in a box for... reasons...

28 August

The last normal push before wedding cross-over shenanigans is coming up soon. This week, Mona eats a burrito, Tessa signs some boobs, and Mineko eats fish sticks. Four main chapters and two side things.

The big side thing is my response to the first season's Week 2 Gina and Marcie Reads CHYOA review. Said review is also a big of foreshadowing of wedding shenanigans (you'll have to skip around the story to find all of the wedding set-up for the gooner girls). Tyalangan gets a sick painting for her office wall, too. The other dice thing is a lot shorter than the last several dice things (I did not do a lot of dice rolling for Day 12).

Once the wedding starts, publication will be more unpredictable. I'll have a chapter (maybe two) during my normal time, then I am playing things by ear.
