Week 2 Misty's Date: Part Two

Evelyn was about done with her breakfast when Gabriella and Misty finally joined them in the dinning room, Misty carrying a wrapped package that was obviously a painting. Shortly after she received a mental message from Shar.

"Keep everyone in the dinning area for now if you would."

Evelyn shivered, that hadn't even come from over the network but been placed directly into her mind. She didn't like the implications of that at all.

Still she stood and coughed to get everyone's attention. "Excuse me. If everyone will wait here for a bit, Shar wants you all for something." She received nods from many, including the latecomers who were only now getting food.

Sitting back down Evelyn tried to lessen the chill down her spine with a large gulp of hot chocolate.

Laura was taking a relaxing shower with Candy when she looked over and realized Shar was standing just outside the large open bath area arms crossed and an eyebrow raised.

Ducking behind Candy reflexively, she shouted at the tall redhead. "Seriously!" Candy, who didn't seem to mind being caught wet and naked by their host just turned and waved.

"I wouldn't be here if the two of you weren't cutting into Misty's day. She's waiting down at a breakfast you have almost avoided."

"Shit!" Laura cried as she jumped back into the stream of water to rinse off. "We got so caught up I forgot."

Shar stood aside to let the two women exit the shower and begin to dry off. "I understand, and let the two of you indulge longer than I probably should. But I did say your schedule would be more relaxed after the first week. Now no harm, no foul this time. I have a announcement to make anyways, so when you ladies are ready I'll escort you down where the others are waiting." With that Shar walked off towards the stairs down leaving the two in peace.

"Sorry." Candy told Laura as she put on her freshly laundered sundress from where it had laid folded on the bedside table.

"Don't blame yourself." Laura said while giving her a hug. "We both got caught up in the moment, and it was a lovely date. I'll just have to make it up to Misty."

Dressed and ready to face the others they met up with Shar and followed her down to teleport to outside the dinning room.

The great doors swung open ahead of Shar's entrance and as she swaggered into the room Laura and Candy moved past her to grab a late breakfast. Laura noted that Misty and Gabriella were also still eating so must have only recently come down themselves.

Shar waited until everyone was seated before making a dramatic gesture back at the scoreboard. "As you can all see due to the mornings 'activities' Candy has passed the first threshold." Laura blushed as everyone looked over at the two of them. Laura avoided their stares looking up at the current scores.

Sure enough, Candy was now over one hundred victory points and had quite the lead on Susan's second place. Laura hoped no one held it against her blonde friend.

Shar waited until she had everyone's attention again. "So Ms. Henderson, you have now earned the first of the first hurdle rewards. Which transformation would you like your free upgrade to go to?"

Candy didn't look at all upset to be on the spot, just lost in thought. "Well I was going to upgrade my wings, but then I got to fly anyways with my second one. Can you tell me how Tinkerbell would upgrade?"

Shar nodded. "For the free upgrade, much like Laura's, I can give you a general idea to help decide. Though some specifics may be missed. In this case you would gain invisibility while in your pixie form."

"Ooooooo!" Candy squealed. "Tiny and unnoticed. Fun! Um, that seems to lean into the prankster a bit too much for me though. I really don't want the audience to vote those kind of things in and being able to fly small or large still sounds fun so I pick Redbull."

"Very well dear." Shar gestured towards the blonde who felt a sudden surge of strength in her back and wings.

Candy stood and danced around her chair into the open then started flapping her wings as she slowly lifted off the ground while giggling up a storm.

"It's a good thing you're as maneuverable as a butterfly or you could have gone straight into the ceiling." Laura chided Candy from her seat.

Candy flashed to her smaller size and zipped over to Shar, growing just in time to give the big woman a hug, before shrinking again to zip back to her seat, growing a final time to start in on her breakfast. She realized she was suddenly famished.

Looking back from her friend Laura realized Shar was gone again. Shaking her head she started in on her own meal while most of the others got up to get on with their post breakfast activities leaving just the two of them plus Misty and Gabriella who had stayed to finish eating as well.

Misty, who was wearing her heavy cloak again today, pulled the hood back after it was just the four of them. "Do you mind spending the day in the master suite for our date today?" She asked Laura.

Laura looked over and shook her head. "No, I'm fine with that if that's what you want to do."

Misty smiled. "I have some activities planned I hope you enjoy, and a gift for you but that can wait until after we eat."

Laura noted the large rectangle wrapped in plain brown paper set on the table between her and Gabriella's places. Had Misty painted something for her? That would be amazing.

"And I hope you don't mind but Misty asked me to accompany the both of you on her date as well." The Spanish woman spoke up giving Laura a smile of her own.

Laura smiled back, noting she was again wearing one of the French maid outfits she'd bought. "I don't mind at all." Laura wondered if Misty's planned activities included trying to get their former teacher more points. She wouldn't mind that at all, wanting to help her old mentor that was very much in last place right now.

"Have fun! I'm going to go outside and try flying around for a bit. Maybe I'll try to find your windows from the outside." Candy giggled some more.

"Just be careful." Laura warned. "If the snow storm gets worse you could get lost up there."

Candy laughed and help up her arm, bracelet gleaming. "I got my magic GPS Mom, I'll be fine,"

Laura laughed and shook her head, today was certain to be interesting.
