Weapon Images (SPOILERS)

This chapter is simply a place where I'll be putting pictures of weapons that come up in the story if I feel like they deserve an image. As such everything here will be a spoiler.

I'm mostly doing this because I have always enjoyed creating/drawing medieval weapons and also just find them neat.

As of 2024/09/24 I've decided to change it so that the images aren't directly displayed here, because all of them (so far) are rather tall, and instead have just linked to them on imgur.

Krvavy's Soulbound Weapon

Initial Appearance

I made this in MS Paint and admittedly may have gone overboard with the size of this thing, both in that I intended the image to be a smaller resolution with 'bigger' pixels and in how large it is compared the characters. I am pretty happy with it though. I had some difficulties with the colours, mostly because I the white-bronze it was supposed to have inherited from the poleaxe (which basically looks like this image straight from Wikipedia, just without the fancy engravings) didn't look quite right, so I only used it for the 'bolts' that reinforce the sides.

Post Soulbound Weaponry II Upgrade

I'm fairly happy with this, though the colours are a little off. For one, I didn't bother to darken the steel holding the heads together, as I imagine that change to be more related to how it reflects light. Also, the tooth down at the bottom should be a little yellowy, like an animals tooth normally is, but that kind of made it look gold so I was lazy and left it as is.

Rough Appearance

To be honest, I'm not not all that happy with this. The colours aren't the best, I'm not sure if the scale/size is right, and I didn't bother to make the thin black vines that are supposed to coil around the shaft. But none of that really matters as this is mostly just here to give a general idea of what I picture it to be like. These javelins are grown with magic, so it feels right to say the appearance varies between each one.
