"We come in peace." Xander stated as he stared at the hooded figure.

"Xander!" Buffy hissed and poked him with her elbow.

"Be at ease, Slayer, I mean you no harm." The hooded figure pulled back the hood to expose an androgynous face that could be male or female. The only real stand out physical traits were the pointed ears and pale pinks eyes that seemed to shine with an inner light.

"See, everyone's friends here." Xander reassured Buffy. "No need to fight."

"Indeed. Put away your weapon Slayer, your friend speaks true. You can call me Asher. " The hooded figure offerer it's androgynous hand.

"What are you doing here?" Buffy asked keeping her stake at the ready, point out and aimed at Asher.

"Saying my farewells to a loved one. The man who summoned me here. His wife passed a few years ago and he clung on to life for a time." Asher looked at the tombstone. "He was... dear to me."

"And what are you?" Buffy asked.

"Buffy. Ixnay." Xander said warningly.

"I am whatever you wish me to be." Asher answered. "My kind are usually without a set form so when summoned to this plane we can choose what we want to be."

"And what is your kind?" Buffy pressed.

"You are being rude." Xander said softly.

"And your acting stupid." Buffy hissed back.

"You would know us as either Succubi or Incubi. But that is not correct. We are both as we have no gender but we adapt our forms to please the ones who summon us."
